Bonaparte's reign starts with a win
Friday, 9 August 2013

After a very successful preseason Paris FC continue their good fortunes with an opening victory over GFC Ajaccio. Other than Laurent Boneparte's first victory in his career it was bitter sweet for Noui Laifa as he was able to celebrate victory over his former club.
New striker Antoine N'Gossan gave Le PFC the lead with a goal from 13 yards out in the 22nd minute. This was his first goal with the club. Sliti would have his name announced as he scored off an error in the 31st minute. With a 2-0 lead at this point is was looking like Paris would cruse to victory.
In the 39th minute things would change as GFC Ajaccio's Tidane Dia pulled his club one back in the 39th. After the half they were in control as Sandy Paillot almost caused an own goal for PFC. GFC's captain Louis Poggi then scored the equalizer during the 61st minute.
With the match all tied up both sides were looking for that one goal. It came for Paris as Sliti scored his second goal of the match to win the game in the 64th minute. Paris were lucky to hold on to the lead.
