The 28 September 2012 the Croatian winger Boris Vukcevic passed out while driving on his way to practice and suffered a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler. After seven weeks he woke up from an inducted coma but playing football was out of the question and it was said he would never be able to play football again.

Today he visited the Rhein-Neckar-Arena for the first time since the accident and the club has confirmed that he is to begin his rehab and that he hopefully will be available at the start of next season. Terrific news for the Hoffenheim fans as the 24-year-old is one of the few who have spent their entire senior career at the club.
