#1: Life in the Championship – Preparations

Robbie Savage: “Today, is a big day, the 21st of June. Everybody’s coming back from their holidays in a few days and I am here, sitting in my office, thinking. Staff changes are on my mind at first, I mean last season we stayed with the same coaching staff because we weren’t allowed anymore. This season, it’s going to be a full revamp. Notable changes that have actually happened are quite good, and I’m very optimistic!”
-Our Scouting Range has been upgraded from the UK and Ireland to all of Europe
-Chelsea have been announced as our parent club, so it will be easier for us to nick a few youngsters
-Our Transfer Embargo has been lifted
-We have a transfer budget of around £2.7 Million

“These things make me more than happy to still be manager of this beautiful club, supported by our Chairman John Bowler-”

*phone rings* “Hello? – The new staff are here? – Let them in.”

Pablo Asensio, Massimo Battara, Nigel Ashley-Jones, Lee Skyrme, Jamie Redknapp, Basem Fathi (no available photo due to the game crashing every time I click on him), Glynn Snodin, and Clive Allen all enter the room with their coaching bags, cones, footballs and other equipment.

Robbie Savage: Morning boys, it’s really good to see you here. Most of you here will know that Neil Baker and Ray Walker have had their contracts terminated as my Assistant and our Defending Coach, respectively, and I expect you all to have a good start to the club. The players will be here in a few days, so be sure to plan out your sessions with them. *to Basem Fathi, in Arabic* Salamu Alaikom (Peace Be Upon You) *to Interpreter/Translator* Basem is a fluent speaker in Arabic, and I expect you to help him become a fluent English speaker within his years at this club. Everybody can leave now, Glynn (Assistant Manager) – you stay.”

“You know how it is, to take a club to the Championship. Huddersfield stayed up and are still in the Championship now, the team that you took up there. I am very lucky to have you here, and I know you got sacked there so you have your second chance here under this club. You will help me scout the players we need, but I have to show you the 3 players who are joining us tomorrow. The press don’t know about it yet, barring maybe the new goalkeeper, but here – look at the presentation.”

#1: Jamie Ness – Stoke City, Loan
#2: Benjamin Siegrist – Aston Villa, Free
#3: Cristian Ceballos – Spurs – Free

“As you can see, we have brought two midfielders and we need many more to stay up, Glynn. Now, just wait a second, I need to make a phone call… *dials number* Vincent Tan! How are you…”
Just read this story from start to where it is now, and you've done a fantastic job with what was available to you. congrats on the promotion and good luck with the season ahead buddy! :)
