Well, let me just tell you that this save is a result of frustration, if anything else
Frustration at having the beautiful sport of soccer be overshadowed by cricket in my country. And it is equally appalling for me to see that a country of 1.241 billion people cannot produce 11 decent players that can give their all on the field. I can harp on about how the cricket crazy country neglects soccer, how the government doesn't really care about it, about x, y and z. But what I have decided to do, is try to achieve the impossible. Take the Indian National Team to the World Cup. I know this might take possibly 100 years, but hey I think I can stick with the game until FM15 comes out. And with Dortmund being my only other save, I think I can manage this.
So, essentially, for this 'challenge' (can't be described any other way), I will change the youth and training facilites at Indian clubs to 'Top' by having my friend edit the database (since I dont have the editor ) - Not really sure if this will really have an effect or not. But apart from that, I will be just the manager of the national team, and hope, that the game system somehow breaks down and the country produces a gem of a player. Sorry for boring all of you with so much blabber, but let's get started. Won'tr really write a lot - just some updates and stuff. Maybe match reports.
So, essentially, this save will:
1. Look for 11 decent (not great, I am satisfied with just decent) players from the massive 1.24 billion people India has.
2. Hope to reach the World Cup - in the (very) distant future.
3. Give people a chance to laugh at me and my managerial skills
4. Give the Indian clubs 'top' youth facilities.
5. Exist against all odds.
I will do this save as myself.
