ADP: OVIEDO DEAL DONE

Alessandro Del Piero has confirmed in a press conference today that Juventus have completed the signing of Everton defender Bryan Oviedo.

Only earlier in the week had it been touted by Toffees boss Roberto Martinez as media speculation, but it now appears that there were foundations to the story and a deal has been done between the two clubs.

Del Piero said: "It was a difficult deal to do. We knew that other clubs were interested so we had to steal in with a private bid to prevent a gazumping. Thankfully we managed it and Bryan passed his medical examination this morning. We look forward to getting him on the training ground and out on the pitch."

It is thought that the lure of regular UEFA Champions League football is the reason behind Oviedo leaving Goodison Park.

Oviedo scored 2 goals in 25 starts for Everton since joining in 2012. Sky Sources understand that the deal was worth up to £5m.
Good luck with Juventus, Should win league pretty easy, Champions League may be a bit of a challenge & Interesting signing in oviedo

Cheers mate. Hopefully Juve can win the Scudetti. As you say, Champions League will be a struggle but nobody can complain if we give it a good go!

CITY CHASE EX RED

Manchester City keen on signing United reject

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba could be set for a big money move back to England, after it emerged last night that Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is keen on the player.

Whilst neither club has yet commented on the speculation, City fans may be irked by the news as Pogba is a former Manchester United player. The fee is believed to be somewhere in the region of £20m - but Juventus are unlikely to shake hands on less than double that, as they see Pogba as an integral part of their first team for the upcoming season.

We have been using the Twitter hashtag #MailPogba to hear the views of City fans and whether or not they would be welcoming of Pogba at the Etihad Stadium.

"@Blue_Moon: Ex scum in at city? no no no #mailpogba"
"@MCFCarl: do not sign pogba. ex red unproven and waste of money #mailpogba"
"@LiamJohn: Pellegrini doing his own thing. Think we could do worse than signing Pogba! #MailSport"

PELLEGRINI: BONUCCI DEAL CLOSE

Manchester City are currently negotiating with Juventus over the signing of Italy central defender Leonardo Bonucci.

It is believed that Juventus are unhappy with the current deal on the table from big-spending City, and they were recently linked with another Bianconeri player in Paul Pogba.

26 year old Bonucci has played 119 times for the club and his agent has said that he would like to one day play in the Barclays Premier League.

He said: "Leonardo (Bonucci) is concentrating on pre-season with Juve, but if a deal is agreed he will certainly speak with Manchester City. Hopefully his future will be settled sooner rather than later."

Sky Sources understand that Manchester City are bidding at around £15m, but Juventus want at least £20m in order to allow the defender to leave.

BONUCCI SIGNS FOR MAN CITY

Manchester City have splashed the cash on Juventus' Leonardo Bonucci, landing the Italian central defender for a fee in excess of £19M.

Bonucci has signed a 5 year deal with the blue side of Manchester, and is relishing the fresh challenge of English football.

The Italy international was part of Antonio Conte's side that won the Serie A in 2012 undefeated and 2013.

New manager Alessandro Del Piero will have his work cut out signing a replacement before the start of the season, as one of the worlds best central defenders has left the club.
That's a big departure, I hope that you can find a great replacement :)
(Have a look at Dória, the Brazilian wonderkid. He's quite similar to Ogbonna)

DEL PIERO ADMITS WILLIAMS INTEREST

Juventus manager Alessandro Del Piero has admitted that Swansea City captain Ashley Williams is high on his transfer wish list for the coming season.

After the sale of Leonardo Bonucci to Manchester City for £19M, ADP has started the search for a replacement, and Williams is a player who has caught the eye.

"I have been impressed with him when I've seen him play for Wales and Swansea. Has has pace, a great football brain and the leadership skills any central defender needs. He is a very good player and I like him a lot - but at this moment I cannot say it's possible to do a deal.

When asked whether he would be adding any other players to his new squad, the former Italy striker was not giving anything away.

He said: "It is difficult to know what we can or can't do in this window. I have the funds, but I won't waste them. I will only buy if I feel it is the right move for everyone involved."

PSG CHASING LICHTSTEINER

Paris Saint Germain are reportedly keen on signing Juventus star Stephan Lichtsteiner.

BT Sport sources have been told that Del Piero & co have rejected 3 bids from the Ligue 1 champions, most recently in the region of £11M.

Juve have already sold a key player to a European rival this summer so it is unlikely that they will sell again - unless the bid is so high it's deemed as 'unrefusable' by the Directors.

We can only wait and see how this saga develops.

LICHTSTEINER: LET ME GO

In what is a rapidly unraveling transfer saga, Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner has launched a stinging attack on new manager Alessandro Del Piero, and we can confirm he has handed in a request to leave the club.

Speaking to Football Italia this morning, Lichtsteiner said: "I refuse to work for a man who is hell-bent on limiting my capabilities as a footballer. I was made aware that PSG wanted to speak to me, but the manager told me I wasn't allowed to leave. He even said that he would sooner see me rot in the reserves before letting me go. He's a lunatic."

Juventus have confirmed that Stephan Lichtsteiner handed in a transfer request this morning - which has been accepted.

CHIELLINI 'NOT FOR SALE'

Juventus boss Alessandro Del Piero has warned off any moves for fan favourite defender Giorgio Chiellini.

The Italy centre-back has been linked with a move to Arsenal in pre-season, following Arsene Wenger's admission that he would like to add Chiellini to his back line.

Though Del Piero has been quick to quash any rumours of a departure, having already seen Leonardo Bonucci leave for Manchester City, and the imminent departure of unsettled right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner to PSG.

He said: "Wenger should look elsewhere because Giorgio is staying. He wants to stay and we are not willing to sell any more players during this transfer window. He will be a key player for us this season and is most definitely not for sale."

Del Piero confirmed that the club are close to signing central defender Tomas Sivok from Besiktas, who will be seen as a replacement for the sold Bonucci.

"Tomas is close, he is at the club and is likely to sign very soon - perhaps even today."
Del Piero <3 good choice !
Good luck with transfers !

Thanks mate. Looking forward to the seasons beginning.

CZECH REPUBLIC STAR SIGNS

We are delighted to have completed the signing of Besiktas captain, Tomas Sivok.

The Czech international defender, 29, has agreed a three-year deal with Bianconeri, and our manager Alessandro Del Piero is pleased with the transfer.

"Tomas is a player I admire a lot and I have always thought he could play, with no disrespect to Besiktas, at a higher level.

"He has great ability in the air and will always give you 100 per cent commitment."

The club can disclose the fee at around £5M plus add-ons.
