Just started my first game on FM09
Im everton and I have been given a very small transfer kitty of £1million
anyone know any free transfers or any good loan/cheap player
alan smith is listed, they wont loan him to me but if i sign him im worried thats all ill be getting all summer since theres no more money

hes not too bad, more of a midfeild support, bench and thts all

if i remember everton start off with a good team from the start so you wouldnt want to make too many signings, maybe a striker


have you tried asking the board for more money, if you doo see a player ya fancy, if you do you can get michael owen for about 5 mill

p.s alan smith is crap for a prem team in 09

happy with the back four of baines, jags, lescott, hibbert (maybe gosling sometimes)
strikers... yakubu, jo, vaughan, saha all good
midfield, cahill, arteta, pienaar, neville, osman, rodwell, gosling, fellaini, all great
may get appiah as back up and i may need a backup striker as saha is injured alot, yakubu out for 2 months, vaughan 3 months
can always stick cahill or fellaini up there if needed
