BREAKING NEWS WEST HAM UNITED SACK MANAGER SAM ALLARDYCE

West Ham have today departed with their manager Sam Allardyce after increasing unrest amongst the clubs supporters. With the new season not far away David Gold and David Sullivan moved swiftly to choose a replacement and that was the bookies outsider ex England international 28 year old Mr Owen. With no managerial experience under his belt he has got a lot of work on his hands to win the fans over and repay the faith in him to the clubs board by making them a Premiership force.

After a brief meeting with the chairman on where he sees the club heading Mr Owen immediately began to talk to his staff and sort through the squad looking to remove any dead wood and to set about bolstering the squad for the long season ahead.
Mr Owen - I wish you luck.

I have opted for a 4-2-3-1 tactic with Kevin Nolan playing off Andy Carroll. I will try and impose fluidity throughout the team whilst trying to play attractive football pleasing the fans whilst hopefully picking up the points. Over the next few weeks I will be letting my assistant manager take control of the friendlis using my tactics while I get to grips with the rest of the club. I also requested to upgrade the training and youth facilities whilst asking for a feeder club to send youngsters out on loan too so they get some experience and all 3 requests were accepted. I also chanced my arm by asking for more funds and an increase in the percentage of transfer fees recieved due to having 0 to spend and was surprised to see both accepted. I now have £10m to spend and I will receive 90% of any transfers out of the club.

WEST HAM UNITED ANNOUNCE LINK WITH GILLINGHAM

West Ham will now have the opportunity to send youngsters from the club on loan to Gillingham to help them gain some valuable football experience in League 1.

WEST HAM COMPLETE THE SIGNING OF BURNLEY'S DANNY INGS AS JOE COLE DEPARTS FOR LOSC LILLE

Today West Ham secured the services of Burnley striker Danny Ings for a reported fee of £5.5 million. Ings at just 21 enjoys a growing reputation throughout English football but it's yet to be seen whether he can make the step up from The Championship to The Premier League. West Ham manager Mr Owen said ''I am thrilled with the signing of Danny Ings and have high hopes for him at this club'' Ings himself said ''He jumped at the chance once West Ham came in for him and looks forward to joining up with the rest of the squad.''

Joe Cole will leave West Ham and join French side LOSC Lille on a free transfer. Cole is familiar with the club as they are with the player after he spent the 2011/12 season on loan there. Joe said ''I was happy at West Ham but I was obviously not in the managers plans but once Lille came in for me I knew that was where I wanted to go. I would like to thank the West Ham fans for all their support and I wish them well in the future.''

AUGUST

West Ham United 0 - 3 Chelsea

Samuel Et'oo (20)
Frank Lampard (23)
Fernando Torres (78)

We started the game well and with Andy Carroll still being injured I opted to go with Carlton Cole as a lone striker. He was getting service early on and missed an absolute sitter which resulted in Chelseas 1st goal. From then on they pretty much immediately hit us with a 2nd and we managed to hold on until half time. I changed a few things around at half time opting to go more attacking rather than trying to just stop them from playing and off came Carlton Cole and Stewart Downing to be replaced by new signing Danny Ings and Ravel Morrison. We had a couple of more chances in the 2nd half but just couldn't seem to find the back of the net and once Torres made it 3 it really was all over.

Manchester City 1 - 1 West Ham United

Aleksander Kolarov (50

Antonio Nocerino (78)

A fantastic result away at Manchester City I flooded the midfield and tried to slow down the play as much as possible not allowing the creativity of City's players to pass us off the park. The first half was very equal and I was more than happy to be 0-0 at that point and once City took the lead my players really stepped up and got at them a fantastic result overall.

West Ham United 1 - 0 Blackburn Rovers (Capital Cup 2nd round)

Danny Ings (60)

I made 11 changes for this game with a home league game against Everton coming up but the team rallied together and eventually got the win. It was nice for Danny Ings to grab his 1st goal and for us to progress into the 3rd round.

Capital Cup 3rd round draw West Ham United V Leeds United

West Ham United 1 - 4 Everton

James Tompkins (33)

Kevin Mirallas (15)
Leon Osman (36, 67)
Romelu Lukaku (60)

A terrible home defeat sees us end the month in 19th place. We never really got going in this match and I think I've been giving the opposition to much respect. We have a break now due to international games and I am going to have a good look through my tactics and the past games and look to change a few things before our next game.
