Better FInishing

Hi guys, just started FM09 and Im in my second season with Arsenal. I won the prem league last season and am a few months in my second. My main problem is not enough goals, my squad is full of quality attacking midfielders and strikers, but after 17 shots i manage mostly 1 goal or 0, though my defence is top quality (0 conceded in 10 games). Just wanna know how can i improve the finishing of my strikers??

theres different ways

training? increasing your shooting ascpect in training

tactics? change of formation. if i hm having problem with goals i go to a 4 - 2 -3 - 1 tactic, tht grabs me goals from midfield if my strikers aint doing the job

look at your set pieces, there some helpful threads on here tht give you some good suggestions in how to get goals from corners etc...

for example getting your tall players with good heading, stength and jumping to challenge gk

i guess you did well in the first season?

next season teams will learn more and will be able to do well against your team, thats why you need to improve your tactic a bit, change a bit here and there.

Just check the mental attributes of ur players like composure, decision making

Strikers with more composure can get u more goals and vice versa if a striker has less composure then even he as finishing 20 he may not get enough goals

having attacking players is no way that u score goals u need to understand eachs quality

try using individual orders in ur tactic with respect to their skills

yeh ive tried to change a few things around with my tactics and the different player instructions, i gave fabregas a free role in CM and found that im able to put more through balls past the defence.
