David Moyes Appointed Southampton Manager

In an amazing turn of events Mauricio Pochettino has resigned at Southampton FC with immediate effect citing personal problems as his reasoning. Pochettino was almost in tears when leaving St Mary's wishing the club the best and that he hoped they would become the club he always believed they could be.

In what many will describe a shock to the system Southampton have offered the Managers Job to none other than Manchester United Reject David Moyes. Moyes had been a catastrophic failure at Old Trafford but few doubt his real talent as a manager just not "The Chosen One" as many had expected.

Having previously managed Preston North End, Everton and Manchester United Moyes Will be looking to resurrect his career to the potential we all believed he was before.
this looks interesting will follow

Schneiderlin Goes To Monaco

The first bit of action that David Moyes attended to was allowing Center MIdfielder Morgan Schneiderlin to depart to AS Monaco for the fee of £15m. Fans were posting on forums Moyes Out! already and he hadn't even taken charge of a game. It is understood Moyes did not want to lose Scnheiderlin but to improve the team he felt the funds from this sale were needed.

Straight after the sale of Schneiderlin Moyes moved in to sign Tottenham Hotspur Center Defender Younes Kaboul for a fee of £9.75m. It was widely regarded as the only weakness of this somewhat strong Southampton team as there was no stand out figure to partner club captain Dejan Lovren at the heart of the defence.

With money still left over after the sale of Schneiderlin a replacement for the a fore mentioned center midfielder was needed and Moyes found his man in Werder Bremen talisman Aaron Hunt £4.7m was needed for Moyes to get his man and get his man he did.

AVB Replaces Moyes At United

In other news the man chosen to replace Moyes at Old Trafford is Andre Villas-Boas a young talented manager who plyed his trade at FC Porto when he famously won the UEFA Champions League as well as Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur is Barclays Premier League.

Pre-Season

In the 8 friendlies the Southampton had lined up for pre-season they only lost once 4-0 away to Zenit St Petersburg of Russia.

David Moyes Now looks foward to the opening game of the season which ironically is against former employers Manchester United, where he is expected to receive a hostile reception from the Red Devils
Good updates mate, shame about your Wales/Bolton story but will follow this.

Moyes Faces United Already

Mancherster United travelled to St Mary's Stadium for the game of the Barclays Premier League Season. It was a highly anticipated match as a record attendance watched on as recently sacked manager David Moyes faced his old team as the new manager of Southampton.

It was all smiles and handshakes before the kick off between Moyes and New United Manager Andre Villas Boas as both managers looked to settle into their new clubs with a win under their belt.

Moyes got his way this time as Southampton turned out 1-0 winners as a fine goal from a James Ward-Prowse corner and flick of from Dejan Lovren teed up debutant Younes Kaboul to score of the half-volley past United keep David De Gea. Although United dominated the match with a far superior possesion they could not find an equaliser.

August Review

In what can only be described as a great first month in charge of Southampton FC David Moyes has not only managed to go the whole of August unbeaten but also doing this by winning every gameand find themselves in 2nd in the league. The great results this month were helped by the incredible form of the youngsters that Moyes has had faith in playing with Luke Shaw winning young player of the month and James Ward-Prowse coming in second this month. Along with the natural goal scoring instinct that graces star striker Rickie Lamberts game.

MO Now that you are in at Southampton how do you feel the fans have reacted?

DM The fans here have been phenomenal which has been integral to our great start this season.

MO As you just said its been a great start, how nice was it welcoming Manchester United To St Mary's and sending them home with nothing ?

DM It was emotional i didnt have the greatest of time with Man Utd but I am not bitter they are the biggest club in the world and the chose me to manage them, but you forget if things didn't happen I wouldn't be here right now talking to you As Southampton Manager.

MO Moving away from Man Utd talk you finally achieved a win at Anfield and beat Liverpool how did that feel ?

DM It was an amazing feeling Liverpool are a great club but for the last 13 years they have been my main rivals at Everton and Manchester United. A win at Anfield is rare and i will treasure this forever.

MO So 4 wins out of 4 after the demolishing of Cheltenham in the Capital One Cup 6-1 and the 1-0 victory over Aston Villa you have made a great impression on the Saints fans.

DM I can't take all the credit the players have been amazing Younes Kaboul has settled in amazingly and his goal against Man Utd will have gone down brilliantly with the supporters, the likes of Ward-Prowse and Luke Shaw showing maturity beyond their years and churned out great performances.

MO Well Good Luck for the rest of the season hopefully we will talk again

DM Thank-you i have one last mention and thats for our captain Adam Lallana he has been instrumental in bringing the players together as a unit.

Shrewd Moyes Shock Transfers

David Moyes has suprised the footballing community with his 4 latest signings. Firstly there was his former Manchester United counterpart Nemanja Vidic ciming in on a free transfer. Vidic known as one of the best center backs to of graced the premier league looks to have been swayed from going abroad by Moyes's Vision for the south coast team.

Only 1 day later Moyes announced that Barcelona's Spanish international Goalkeeper Victor Valdes was joining Vidic at Southampton as what can be seen as a mini revolution.

3 days after the completion of these 2 amazing deals Moyes sprung another shock by bringing in Andre Schurrle and Nemanja Matic in a £23.75million combined fee. These 4 signings will join brazilian youngster Ademilson in a reformed look of the starting 11 at St Marys this upcoming season.

Theses signings were funded by the sale of Daniel Osvaldo to Juventus for £17million and Gaston Ramirez to Manchester City for £17.5million.

Moyes is clearly making a statement that he wants Southampton to push to the next level and has put things into perpetual motion, we do not expect to see any more signings arrive at St Marys this window, But this is David Moyes where nothing is predictable.
signings seem a bit unrealistic :L but other than that some good updates
BaggieJamesThanks for comment and I would normally agree but selling those 2 plus a couple of fringe players brought me in a lot of money (£46.49m) as well as what my initial budget was too and i didnt spend all of it either (£33.49m), im probably overpaying on wages too a little because rest of team are on the cheap.
