ZICO LEAVES THE CHEETHAS
Brazilian legend Zico has just left Al-Gharafa Sports Club because he had an argument with the chairman of the club Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani the reason of the argument is said to be the elimination in the first round of the AFC Champions League in a grou with Lokomotiv FK, Al-Hilal and Sepahan. The Cheetahs ended last in there groups with just 4 points which was a big dissapointment since the club had spend big in the summer signing players like former Lyon striker Lisandro López and former Celtic striker Miku. Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani has also announced the new manager of Al-Gharafa his name is Aaron Sinteur who is a 25 year old lawyer from Holland. The fans of the Cheetahs where shocked when they heared that a lawyer would become there new manager. Sinteur doesn't speak Arabian but we at Al-Gharafa wish him good luck and we hope that Sinteur can lead us to our fist title since 2010. Sinteur's first match will be against Al-Shamal at the Al-Shamal Stadium his first match in the Thani bin Jassim Stadium will be against Al-Khor in the Prince Cup. we hope to see you there to support your team!
Good luck with this mate.
