Positions Open Up

Sevilla have sacked their manager Unai Emery after finding themselves in 20th place. The favorite to take over is the currently unemployed Andre Villas-Boas, but he faces competition from unemployed managers such as Guus Hiddink, Michael Laudrup and Marco van Basten. Daniel Shaw is also interested in the job with players such as Coke and Ivan Rakitic available at their disposal. Rumor has it that he is pondering sending in an application.

Also, Sc Heerenveen has sacked Marco van Basten due to recent bad results, and Stuttgart has fired Thomas Schneider after finding themselves in last place. Shaw is not interested in either position because he is unfamiliar with the players there.
More Managerial News
I had declined a chance to interview for Sc Heerenveen because I will not rush back into the managerial game with the wrong team. I need a team where a can build around a few players I am familiar with and I am very unfamiliar with the structure of Sc Heerenveen. They went on to hire Co Adriaanse. Big hiring for Stuttgart, they hired Guus Hiddink to be there coach, a Dutch legend! I applied for Sevilla and they offered me an interview, but now Wolfsburg have fired Dieter Heckling after finding themselves in 12th place. I do have semi-interest in them because of Kevin De Bruyne, Olic, Perisic, Luiz Gustavo and Ricardo Rodriguez. Screw it, I'm very interested in that position! But I will interview at Sevilla as well. Interviews to come next.
Sevilla Interview

Monchi: What would you like to be judged on?

Shaw: Attacking Football and possession-based football

Monchi: Is 6.25 Million Pounds suitable?

Shaw: For a 20th place club who's star player is injured?! No I need a lot more financial backing

Monchi: So I guess the 475,000 Pound Wage Budget is not sufficient...

Shaw: I think you know my answer...

Monchi: Any Proposals for the club?

Shaw: Please improve Junior Coaching

Monchi: We believe that is fair.

Interview over

It was unsuccessful because I demanded more financial backing. The job went to AVB...
Wolfsburg Rejection

The Wolfsburg rejection hit me hard. The meeting went great but I asked for a slightly greater transfer budget than 3.5 million and that's what cost me the job. They gave it to the current Mainz head coach Thomas Tuchel. I have no interest in the Mainz job, but this one I would've loved. I will not post until I get a job I want, so we'll just have to wait a bit.
Christmas Time Miracle!

EVERTON HAS HIRED ME!!! Now it's time for mind games with Mourinho, battles with old gaffer Moyes, Merseyside Derby's vs. Rodgers! I have taken over the Goodison Park club while they are in 14th place. I have a 7 Million Pound transfer budget and a 1 million pound wage budget. I will show them my loyalty!!
Tactics

My tactics are simple but, hopefully, effective. It is an attacking 4-2-3-1.

I'm looking to play with control and fluidity. I like Gus Poyet's triangle passing but with much more aggressiveness. That's all well and good when you intercept the ball and want to retain it, but I will be training these boys to do that and then to counter strong and fast. I will be floating crosses in for Lukaku to seize, I will be hassling opponents, I will work the flanks with Mirallas and Pienaar. I have a tough first test though, in Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City squad.

December Results
Manchester City 3-1 Everton (EPL)
Kompany (53) McGeady (90)
Bartra (80)
Negredo (85)

Everton 2-1 Cardiff City (EPL)
Deulofeu (21) Medel (56)
Lukaku (54)

Analysis:
Everton needs work on their finishing. In my two games in charge they we have missed 6 open opportunities. That is unacceptable and I will focus most of my training on that.
Former Everton Gaffer Sacked by the Red Devils
http://backpagefootball.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/david-moyes_2783026k.jpg

David Moyes, our former manager, has been sacked by Manchester United after only 6 months in charge. It is believed that the poor form was the reason for his sacking, winning only 1 match in the last 5. He did win the Community Shield earlier in the season with Man Utd, but that was much too little to save him for the whole season. We still love you here at Everton David, but don't try to take my job.

Messi has completed a double swoop and has won the Ballon D'Or and the World Player of the Year award. Erik Lamela took the European Golden Boy Award.
Congrats on your new job mate!
