Speaking to the press Darren Ferguson has anounced that it is now mid way through pre-season and the lads have been going stronge, each and every lad that had played has done themselves and the club very proud after a poor first match for myself and the club. Darren said the reason he was here was to keep the fans that unfortunatly couldn't make it to the stadium during the last 3 matches for whatever reason update with goings on.

After the match against FC Kobenhavn we travelled to the Czech Republic to take on Sparta Prague at their home stadium which all of our fans that managed to travel had throught they were in for a hard match when I went with the team I did considering there struggled against Kobenhavn.

as the only changes were to the guys on the bench and they were Zieler coming in for Perin between the sticks, Mallo coming in for Jung on the right hand side of the back 4, Markus and Darren being replaced by Jonathan and Kev in the middle of the park and Paul Ince's son Tom replacing Adnan on the wings

Heres how the game ended

Thanks to a brace from Michy who has a bright future ahead of himself with us we could have scored many more as we had 25 shots with 13 on target.

For our next match we headed to Germany to play at the SGLL arena against FC Augsburg as part for the agreement that allowed Kevin Vogts to come here. The team I chose for this match was as follows.

we believed it was only fair and a brilliant way for Kev to say goodbye to his old team mates by coming off the bench in the second half for us.

This game proved to be a difficult one due to augsburg keeper Marwin Hitz being in great form between the sticks for his team. After the match we managed to catch up with Vogts who was found sitting in the Augsburg dressing room catching about his good times at his former club.

For our most recent game we travelled to Fleetwood, the team i went with was quite a weak one looking like this.

The beauty about this game was that it gave us the chance to check out new lads Mason Bennett, Alex Harris and Ryan Jack along with players who were out on loan last season in Ben Amos who was at Carlisle, Davide Petrucci who was with Crewe and Tom Thorpe who found himself at Birmingham but dispite this we to some very nice football.

On a hot day in July we found ourselves disappionted not to be walking away with alot more goals but Fleetwood had a magnicant Iain Turner to thank for that but the lads I put my trust in proved everyone wrong.

We have 3 games of pre-season left the next is back in Germany were we will play Hoffenhiem then we will be back in front of our own fans against Italian giants AS Roma and then Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in these games the fans can be sure of seeing new signings Hiroshi Kiyotake, Angel Correa, Tomas Martinez and a returning player for us in Will Keane who was at Q.P.R last season.

One last thing, I would like to invite all fans to our home ground for a massive day of welcoming for all the new lads who now play for the club and those I have brought in to help me behind the scenes this event will be free and we will be offering supports a chance to meet former legends of United and current stars as we will have the full squad with us and we will be offering fans a chance to question anyone they want by writing in to [email protected] and we will give you the answers at the event you can also be sure to see my dad there who has a special message for the fans
