In order to meet league requirements, Truro City’s home ground Treyew Road will be expanded to hold a further 1,000 supporters. This comes as great news for supporters of the White Tigers with numerous rumours circling about the ground being re-developed into a retail park in the past year. Truro City’s promotion to the Skrill Premier is thought to be the reason the London development firm Helical Bar decided against the re-development after consulting the US investment company that owns the ground.
Seats will be installed in parts of the standing areas while also expanding the existing standing areas with the expansion expected to take six months to complete. Truro City will play at Plymouth’s Home Park until the expansion has been completed.
