Treyew Road Set For Expansion

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/89f43c52-4db4-4279-acc0-cb13f0e15741_zps6272f7a7.jpg.html

In order to meet league requirements, Truro City’s home ground Treyew Road will be expanded to hold a further 1,000 supporters. This comes as great news for supporters of the White Tigers with numerous rumours circling about the ground being re-developed into a retail park in the past year. Truro City’s promotion to the Skrill Premier is thought to be the reason the London development firm Helical Bar decided against the re-development after consulting the US investment company that owns the ground.

Seats will be installed in parts of the standing areas while also expanding the existing standing areas with the expansion expected to take six months to complete. Truro City will play at Plymouth’s Home Park until the expansion has been completed.
exciting times ahead for Truro, good luck in the next season :)

Transfers

We have signed numerous players to increase the quality of the depth within the squad, with only two of those players expected to be in the starting side.

The first player is Billy Jones who previously played in the Sky Bet League 2 for Burton Albion looks to be the best option at left back as well as a good option for corners and free kicks.

The second player is Sol Wheatley, a 19 year old right winger who was previously at Plymouth. Wheatley has good potential and looks to be a better option than Nick Crittenden despite his tremendous season last year.

Going up into the Skrill Premier I had to release players who served me well in the Skrill South but aren’t up to playing at a higher level. I also was forced to let go of Liam Head who refused to enter contract negotiations.

Once again I arranged fixtures against sides in the Cornwall and Devon area, four easy fixtures to boost confidence and increase form while raising morale and fitness.
Some good signings, (counting on your words) and a great preseason, like you said, to boost fitness, confidence, morale and form!

Truro Bring In Richards

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/jamie-richards-386-682380_478x359_zps6d040b78.jpg.html

Truro City is delighted to have secured the services of defender back Jamie Richards.

Richards was recently released from Truro’s division rivals Macclesfield after previously playing for Plymouth. He is expected to be put straight into the starting line-up for Truro’s first game of the season against Braintree despite not being at the club during pre-season.
Wtf does he have on his face :o? Gl with him, hope he becomes a fan fav!

We began our Skrill Premier campaign with a bore draw against Braintree and then conceded a heavy defeat at the hands of Cambridge United. We then took on Tamworth and came out victorious thanks to a Jamie Beasley brace. In our match against Southport we held the lead for 85 minutes until a Billy Jones own goal saw the match end in a draw.

Our game against FC Halifax saw Truro vice-captain Dan Green injured his ankle and is expected to be out for two months, we managed to earn a draw in the match after being behind twice in the game. Our final match of the month saw us lose to Dagenham and Redbridge in a match in which we were fined £750 after receiving seven yellow cards.

League Table

Still plenty of games to play, four teams get relegated in the Skrill Premier so it surviving will be a hard task.
decent start, but I reckon you can do a lot better. just remember where you were at the start of last year...
