September got off to a great start with consecutive wins against Whitehawk and Hayes & Yeading United with Sol Wheatley scoring in both games. We then lost three games out of the next four due to some terrible defensive efforts with only a come from behind draw against Lincoln City earning us any points.

Our next fixture was against our old Skrill South rivals Ebbsfleet United who we defeated 2-0, allowing us to remain unbeaten in fixtures against them since I arrived at the club. We then lost 2-0 to Macclesfield Town to end the month.

A slight improvement from August, it’s still early in the season though.
Not to bad of a season so far but hopefully you can push on and break into the top ten sooner rather than later

I think that if you improve your team next season, you're in League 2!

Harding Signs With Truro

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/2f7cc69c-c2b0-46f3-b66e-0024f4d64099_zpsbb904a8d.jpg.html

Truro City has secured the services of ex-Torquay United midfielder Ben Harding until the end of the season.

Harding has spent eight of the past nine years of his career playing in the Sky Bet League 2 for Torquay United, Northampton Town & Aldershot Town with one year spent in the Sky Bet League 1 playing for the Wycombe Wanderers.

Harding’s signing will help Truro’s struggling midfield and he will be put into the starting side immediately due to Jamie Lowry’s one match suspension for reaching five yellow cards.
Hopefully results start picking up soon. Good signing btw

Hopefully the results pick-up, and hopefully Harding will have a positive effect in your team. Good luck!

We put together a terrific start to the month by defeating first placed Bristol Rovers 1-0 with Billy Jones converting a penalty. We then defeated Salisbury City 1-0 after Stewart Yetton scored from a cross.

Following those terrific results, a 10 man Alfreton Town defeated us 1-0, Aldershot Town defeated us 4-2 with all four goals coming inside the first half and Gateshead added to the misery by defeating us 2-0 in three terrible displays.

Next we played Skrill Premier rivals Salisbury City in the FA Cup. We got off to a terrible start with Arran Pugh sent off in the 10th minute although Stewart Yetton managed to score in the 31st minute despite us being a man down with a placed shot. Salisbury City defender David Woodward was sent off in the 36th minute and we were able to control possession and win the game 1-0.

To finish off the month we lost to last placed Hereford United 3-1 thanks to a Seedy Njie hat-trick.

No positive news here, it looks like we will be in a relegation battle this season.
C'mon Truro! Let's hope that a change in your results will see you get mid-table!

Yetton Scores 250th Goal For Truro

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/4819573-large_zpse873b2f1.jpg.html

During Truro City’s match against Wrexham, club icon Stewart Yetton netted his 250th goal for the club during a 4-1 victory. The goal was scored after Yetton converted on an error from Wrexham defender Jay DeMerit and beat goalkeeper Joslain Mayebi with a placed shot.

Yetton moved to Truro late in 2005 from Tiverton Town with his best season at the club saw him score 72 goals during the 2006-07 season (a club record). He moved to Weymouth for the 2013-14 season until Truro brought him back the next season to assist them in their campaign after being promoted to the Skrill South.

“I have loved this town for as long as I can remember, all the progress the club has seen in the past two years under the current manager has given the people of Cornwall a local football team to be proud of” said Yetton. “I hope I am able to be apart of the club for the rest of my playing career and beyond” he added.
250 goals is a great achievement!

The White Tigers began the month with an impressive 4-1 victory over Wrexham which in which both Stewart Yetton and Jamie Beasley scored twice. Truro then travelled to Broadhill Way to play Sky Bet League Two side Stevenage going down 2-1 in a spirited performance.

After a 4-2 loss to Exeter, Truro defeated Forest Green 3-1 with Stewart Yetton once again scoring twice, they then faced Braintree falling to a 2-0 defeat.

In the final game of the month, Truro faced competition favourites Dagenham and Redbridge in the FA Trophy First Round and upset them to earn a 1-0 victory courtesy of Jamie Lowry’s first goal of the season.

Very tight at the bottom with last placed Hereford United on 23 points, the relegation battle continues.
You're half-way done through the season. Let's hope you get a cup-run and start getting some points to get out of the relegation dogfight!
