Finances are always awful to have to manage, especially with small clubs. Hopefully your link with Brighton will help out with a bit of extra cash and some quality players :)

Despite the limits on wages, Truro managed to bring in Nathan Thomas and Niall Thompson who will feature heavily throughout the season. The other players brought in by Truro will provide cover throughout the season.

Truro was forced to release a lot of players due to the wage budget being lowered. The depth of their squad is the biggest question mark about Truro heading into the season.

As usual, Truro played fixtures against sides in the Cornwall and Devon area. The only change to their pre-season fixtures was a match against Brighton Under 21’s which was arranged because of the deal between the two clubs.
nice start.

But just remember, #KeepYetton.

In the first fixture of the season, Truro played against Barnet at The Hive coming out victorious 4-2 with Stewart Yetton scoring a brace. Truro’s first game for the year at Treyew Road resulted in a 1-1 draw against Macclesfield after Jamie Richards got sent off in the 30th minute.

In the next two games, Truro came out victorious against Cheltenham and Whitehawk in impressive displays. They then finally suffered their first loss of the season against Bristol Rovers when a penalty was awarded in injury time, which was converted by Ryan Brunt to see Truro lose 3-2.

Boreham Wood came away with the points against Truro with Saul Williams scoring in the 82nd minute to see the game finish 2-1. The final match of the month saw Truro draw 2-2 with Salisbury City.

Truro are off to a very good start considering they have been predicted to finish 23rd by the media. There are still questions about the depth of the squad, which will be tested as they get deeper into the season.
Pretty good start, only losing twice, by one goal margins.
