BBC Sport: Pep Guardiola has issued a statement regarding Roberto Fresnedoso, and has offered his open support for him to be appointed as the new United Manager.

Roberto Fresnedoso is currently the youth manager at Atletico Madrid, however he has relatively solid credentials, Continental Pro License. He's just an unproven manager, that doesn't mean he lacks the ability.

Author note: This is set in 2018, United's first team has deteriorated a lot, Chelsea and Liverpool have rose to dominance, Barcelona dominate Spain, Bayern dominate Germany. I'm just restoring a fallen giant. I suppose once United are comfortably top I will get my assistant to take over like Pep did at Barcelona and I will move on to another club.

Roberto Fresnedoso appointed to the Red Devil Job!

Manchester United have named Roberto Fresnedoso as their new manager, despite their confidence in him he's been given a contract lasting one year as they have a bad track history of managerial appointments and do not wish to pay any significant compensation fee should he fail to impress his new boss. Atletico Madrid have expressed disappointment in his move as Luciano Spalletti were to appoint him as Assistant Manager by 2019.

ESPN Journalist: How much does it mean to you to have been given this job?
Fresnedoso: It's a dream come true, I've been homing my skills over at Atletico's youth teams and now I feel that I am at the point where I need to spread my wings, I will be the special one, though I am unproven at the moment.

Unknown Journalist: It's well known by now that the state of the United Squad has deteriorated severely in the past four years, so it goes without saying that you must have been handed a generous transfer budget, right?
Fresnedoso: Yes, at the moment it stands at roughly one hundred British pounds.

An inside source at the Carrington Training Camp claim that Steve Round has been relieved of his duties as Assistant Manager and has signed a new contract to take up the role as coach.

Despite his usual role as a coach Fresnedoso has appointed him as his assistant.

Julian Draxler, among others linked with moves to United

New Red Devil manager Roberto Fresnedoso appears to be interested in securing the services of Barcelona star Julian Draxler, it's well worth noting that Barcelona paid £35.5 Million to acquire his services from Schalke in 2015 and any sort of deal will not come cheap for United.

I've got a deadline to get my project I'm working on (Freelance programmer in my... spare time) so not sure if I can update this anytime soon, bit of a weird time to post it but I would forget about the idea otherwise :P
