Son Regen Odds

I'm trying to farm a son on my Toronto FC save. I've won everything there is except the CWC and I want a son to take with me to Europe once I manage to somehow win it. What are my odds? What am I looking at patience-wise? I saved on Dec. 26 & I've been at it for 2 days now. Is it just not possible in MLS? Are the odds that bad? I'm determined, I just want to know what I'm in for.

think the odds are the same regardless of location, and in my entire fm play to date I have never had a son in any of my games
