BREAKING NEWS

It’s all gone wrong for Mourinho in his second stint at the club, the Portuguese manager was rushed to hospital last night; the club have yet to reveal his condition. It is believed that the club will yet again, announced another interim manager to take control of the first team for the time whilst Mourinho is unable to carry out his duties. Rafa Benetiz has been linked the return for another season after he successfully guided Chelsea to Europa League glory in his short stay.

CHELSEA REVEAL NEW INTERIM MANAGER

Chelsea have announced the appointment of interim first team coach, Ryan Farnby. The club realised this statement..
‘Chelsea are pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Farnby as the interim first team coach. The situation was never planned to turn out the way it did, but Ryan has the team’s and Jose’s best wishes at heart. We wish Jose the best of luck in his recovery and Ryan all the best in his attempt to drive the team to glory.’
This is my first story so any advice and constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated, thanks:)

PRE SEASON REVIEW
Overall pre season was okay, we scored bags of goals, however we conceded a few more than I would of liked. I managed to give a good amount of game time to the youth and the experienced, which I believe will be one of my challenges throughout the remainder of the season. Players such as Van Ginkel, Musonda, Feruz,Ake all look very promising, some will be going out on loan and some may be used for cup teams.

TRANSFERS

An early signing for Chelsea Football Club, Jim white reporting..
Chelsea have announced a major summer signing, they have reportedly activated a £32,000,000 pound buyout clause in the contract of Athletico Madrid striker Diego Costa. It was very much anticipated that he was going to be the centre of transfer speculation after a great season with Athletico. More to follow as we hear it.’

More transfer news from Chelsea, they reported to us that Nathan Ake and Islam Feruz have been loaned to Brighton and Steveage respectively.
AUGUST + SEPTEMBER REVIEW

The first two months of the season were jam packed with talking points, to start off with we had a first game against Cardiff, which we won comfortably and the team played very well, rounding off the performance was a debut goal from Diego Costa. We dropped some silly points away to hull losing 2-0, we couldn’t handle Shane long at all. We recovered well with a 3-0 win against Swansea. With salah (2) and terry getting in on the action.

Up next was our first chance of silverware. We managed to pick up the UEFA Super cup by defeating pep guardiola’s Bayern side 1-0. Eto’o’s only goal showing experience does matter in Europe. Our inconsistency carried on as we returned to our domestic games. We lost 3-0 away to Newcastle which was a shambolic performance.

Not to make the lives of professional footballers any easier up next was an away trip to Paris. A solid defence performance from the lads allowed us to come away from the Parc De Princes with a point following a 0-0 draw. Was always going to be a tough ask, but a point that could come vital in what is a very tough group. The tough fixtures kept on coming at us with homes against Liverpool and Man UTD luming. Liverpool at home, Salah came to life in this game scoring both goals in a 2-0 win. He is proving his worth as he is selected over others in a star studded midfield.

Capital One Cup Time!

Capital Cup 3rd day, a chance for lower league teams to test themselves with a trip to Wembley the aim. One team aiming for that was Brentford who we faced in our 3rd round game. Fortunately for us, we came out 2-1 winners. In a game where the team was heavily rotated, Lampard does what he does best and scored a second half penalty to take us through.

DE JA VU?

Man UTD at home, we needed a win this game, as our position so far in the league is not great, and didn’t the boys start well. Mohammed Salah continued his rich vain of form and lead from the front by scoring a first half hat – trick. The boys were flying, and I took this opportunity to substitute a couple of tired players at half time, BIG MISTAKE. 2nd half was very different, moyes must have really got them firing in the dressing room, they came out quick, sharp and they were helped by an Ivanovic O.G, it went from bad to worse and a late Van Persie double secured the comeback. Man united come back to 3-3 at Stamford Bridge, haven’t we seen that before?
With january fast approaching i need to cover at both full back positions. If anyone has amy recommendations please let me know.
left-back: shaw or santon! :D
