Natalie approaches, she carefully strokes my face with the make-up brush before whispering ‘you’re ready to go on stage now’

I walked out there and began ‘welcome to Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’. You see it had been a week now since that fateful Friday Night.

I had become the new Newcastle manager to supprisingly little uproar from the fans but that didn’t stop Cowell. Who had given me nothing but abuse since the day.

I couldn’t tell him the real reason I missed that show and ever since he has always had a murky glare of contempt when I look him in the eye.

After the show I see Cowell, his face looks as if it has been painted red and he snaps
‘Ant you are a f**king disgrace, how dare you f**king undermine me, I will crush you like a bug I’m Simon f**king Cowell’.

I push him, tell him to back off, he stands there as if he can’t believe what just happened and after a flurry of swear words he hits me.

I don’t remember much else accept Dec pulling me away from him and me being ushered away by guards had I just ended my presenting career.
good, that distraction was nothing but crap anyway ;)

I'll keep the distraction now just to spite you.

We have had a decent pre-season. We started off with two comfortable 3-0 victories over St Mirren and Gateshead before a 3-1 victory over Carlisle. However we were unable to with the sheer class of Dortmund and were comfortably defeated 3-0 before a disappointing defeat against Atlanta which was made all the worse by the fact we deserved to win. We then got a hard fought 3-2 victory over Catania to give us a bit of confidence heading into the season.

Out

Cheik Tiote - Roma (9.5m)
Chiek Tiote is a strong defensive midfielder however I felt the £9.5million offer from Lille very acceptable and was confident I could find a cheaper replacement.

Hatem Ben Arfa - Real Madrid (14.5m)
Truthfully I am sad to see the talented winger go. He would have made a large amount of appearances in my squad however he felt it necessary to demand the exit door.

Also there were some loans allowed for example Bigirimana who left to Celtic for the season and Mbabu who was allowed on a short term loan to Tranmere.

In

Rio Mavuba – Lille (5m)
Rio has been brought in to place the outgoing Cheik Tiote. He has come in from Lille and is a very talented defensive midfielder who has been capped for France on several occasions I hope he can strengthen the midfield and help us to a high finish.

Value:

Raheem Sterling – Liverpool (10.5m)
The young winger has been brought in as a replacement for Hatem Ben Arfa. He has a large amount of speed and looks like he can make an impact for us immediately. He cost £10.5m with a clause that sfter 50 appearances Liverpool will be due £5m more.

Value:

Sam Lavelle – Blackburn (1m)
A promising young centre back brought in for the future I’m sure he will break into the first team at some point.

Some good players coming in, Tiote and Ben Arfa leaving? :o
You made some great signings but Ben Arfa en Tiote are 2 of the best players Newcastle have,How are you going to replace them?

25th July 2013

I sit patiently awaiting the call, sat alongside me was Dec who was desperately trying to keep me calm about my upcoming meeting.

You see I had been waiting since the incident between me and Simon Cowell for the disciplinary panel which was held after the end of my Saturday Night Takeaway series.

Now the future of my career in presenting was in the balance, even though I have now become manage of my favourite team, I still didn’t want to end this career.

‘ANT’ I heard the shout coming from the other side of the wooden door. ‘It’s time to enter’ was the following shout and I preceded to enter the room.

As I entered the room I was almost shaking with fear, but soon I became less fearful as the panel began to speak.

‘It was an unfortunate incident that occurred between you and Simon Cowell however it has been deemed that it wasn’t your fault. There will be no further action taken against you, you are now free to leave’.

I thanked everyone on the panel and left barely able to contain my joy.

I AM BACK BABY!
some good signings. but it's Newcastle, I can't give you to much praise lol
