Oops, I accidentaly broke some links to the pictures. I'll fix them later.

tallery1164: Thanks a lot! Good suggestion as well! I also have Alex Schalk, who joined in the winter irl. So when Locadia and Matavz are injured, I might give him a go. I took some inspiration from your Shakthar story, because you're also using those thumbnails for every match, so I decided to use that style as well.

PSV sign Castilla's Borja

PSV today confirmed the signing of Real Madrid Castilla's Borja. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has joing for a fee of 750k as a starting payment, and 2.2 million spread out over 48 months. At the press conference, De Wit had this to say: "Borja is a young, exciting talent. It was quite necessary to sign an attacking midfielder, seeing that Adam Maher and Georgino Wijnaldum are injured at the moment".

Borja also gave an interview today, saying that he was very honoured joining a team like PSV, and he hoped for a fair chance in the first team. Borja started his playing career at Rayo de Vallecano, in juli 2011 he joined Córdoba CF. In the summer of 2012, Real Madrid picked him up for a fee of 1,5 million euros. The Spaniard has signed a contract until the summer of 2017, with a salary of 9k per month. De Wit has given the player a release clause of 25 million euros.

PSV qualify for last Play-Off stage Champions League

Line-Ups PSV-Grasshoppers:

Borja wasn't registered yet, because of this, I couldn't play him this match.

Game Summary:

My comments:
It was a very close game. When Zürich took the lead, I didn't have any faith in a good ending of the game. Grasshoppers had more shots than us: 11 for PSV, 13 for Grasshoppers. I gave my men a good talking to, because we didn't play up to our potential, but I know that it's the start of the season, there still is a lot to learn in the tactical area for the players. Star man for me was Matavz, who came of the bench and scored an important goal for us. Bakkali also played a decent match, which is nice, it means he can handle the pressure of this big match for the club.

Champions League draw

Because PSV progressed, they took part in the draw for the final qualification round of the Champions League. PSV got themselves a difficult opponent: AC Milan. With players ike Mario Balotelli and Stephan El Shaarawy, they'll be big favourites for this match. This is the complete draw of the final qualifying round:

PSV announce yet another signing

PSV have signed Giovanni Simeone, the son of Atlético Madrid manager Diego Simeone, on loan from Manchester City. The Argentinian, who has recently joined Man City from River Plate, will be joining the Philips club for one season. They have to pay 3,750 euros in wage contribution per month. De Wit: "We are very pleased to announce this signing, I have faith in this youngster. I felt that we needed one more striker, because if Locadia or Matavz get injured, we have no backup striker. And I'm very pleased that I have signed my first South-American player," he said jokingly. Simeone was very pleased with the chance to get his first minutes in Europe. He hopes that he can impress his parent club, Manchester City.

Seriously, what's up with this guy's hair?
Congrats on the win vs Grasshopers, as Arsenal I've done this and just scraped past Real Sociedad 1-0, summed up by the fact that Szczesny got rated 10!

Specialist in success: Thanks! I must say, Zoet did manage some awesome saves in the away game, and they missed quite a lot. But it's always nice to see the team doing well even at the start of a season.
Some great signings there!

Summary of the AZ game and the ADO game

Line-Ups PSV-AZ:

Game Summary:

My comments:
Another unsure performance, but we managed to get the victory. It´s probably down to the tactics, I´ve got two, so they haven´t quite got them through to the players. Jetro Willems put in a good shift today, he ran up and down the wings, but also kept the door shut on the left of defense.

Line-Ups ADO Den Haag-PSV:

Game Summary:

My comments:
Oh boy, did I hammer them in the dressing room… A horrendous performance! Losing against ADO Den Haag, there’s no excuse for that! Also, once again we had less shots than our opponents! I’m changing the tactics a little bit, our next match is against AC Milan, and I don’t want to get hammered. Star man? There was no star man today, the best player probably was Depay, at least he got himself a goal. Simeone probably made one of the worst debuts ever, I didn’t see him once this game! Another worry, Wijnaldum is injured for 3 months, just my luck. Luckily we’ve got Borja.

Standings:

It's not looking great in the Eredivisie, luckily we've picked up some good results in Europe. And we've already qualified for the Europa League, even if we go out against AC Milan (which we probably will)
not the best start possible in the league, but keep it up mate! the results will come!
1
AAN: Yeah, I know. It certainly hasn't been the best of starts, I guess it's pretty difficult to start against FC Twente away. I'm sure the results will come once I've found the perfect tactics, and once the team understand it perfectly. I think it's also down to the average age of my team, I think it's probably around 22, that's pretty young for a top team!

Official PSV announcement on the Herdgang

PSV are proud to announce that works will start on constructing state of the art youth and training facilities are going to start at the end of this season, and will be completed on the 2nd of October 2014. The works consist of building a bigger stadium on the main youth pitch at the Herdgang, PSV's widely known youth and training complex, and new training pitches will be installed. The upgrade on our youth complex will cost in the region of 5,75 million. The training facilities will be upgraded for a sum of 3,2 million. Altogether, the club believes this will greatly improve our influx of youth players to the first team. Also, training sessions will be much more effective for all players.

Current situation at the Herdgang
Nice! Will be a great place to nurture all the young talent at PSV!

tallery1164: Yes, I'm very happy that I've been able to reach 5 stars on both training and youth facilities in the first season! Seeing as Boljevic can't play yet (under 18 non-EU players aren't allowed to play in the Eredivisie), it'll be a nice place for him to develop! Also, I'm thinking of using a player called Kenneth Paal next season, he's a very big talent as well, so it'll be nice to see if he develops during the course of this season.
Can you PM me his stats, might be some good for Shakhtar ;)
