AAN: Thanks, the league is my priority this year, next year I hope to get some good players (probably CB, RB, and a backup right mid) and then I can really challenge in the Champions League.
That was exactly my reaction after the match in Plzen, we played like a team that was playing together for the first time, it was really frustrating to watch... But sometimes you do get one of those matches where everything goes wrong. Luckily, we bounced back with a win in the league.

Begin of December

PSV-Vitesse (04-12-2013) Line-Ups:

PSV-Vitesse Summary:

I updated the graphic a little bit. Let me know what you think of it :)

My Comments:
You would expect Vitesse to be around position 4 or 5, but when I played them, they were 17th! Just before this match, they fired their coach, so I hoped it caused confusion around their team. It kind of did, we beat them by one goal. But our football wasn´t that good today, that is because I played on the counter, and it seems to work for us. Star man was Borja, who scored his first goal for the club.

SC Cambuur-PSV (07-12-2013) Line-Ups:

SC Cambuur-PSV Summary:

My Comments:
Another victory in the Eredivisie, and our biggest away win of the season yet. We didn’t play amazingly, but we finished almost all of our chances, and that’s very nice to see. Zoet only had to make 2 saves, because Cambuur only had 2 shots on target. Narsingh played a good match today, getting himself a 9.1. He didn’t score any goals, but he gave 2 assists.

Eredivisie Table on 07-12-2013:

We're still top, and by a couple of points. We've also got the best attack and best defense of the league! If we keep this form up, we'll win the Eredivisie no problem!

PSV-Chelsea (10-12-2013) Line-Ups:

Narsingh is out for 5 to 6 weeks...

PSV-Chelsea Summary:

My Comments:
A very tough match, but we had to win or draw to get into the Europa League, because Viktoria Plzen won their match against Shakhtar (with 3-4 in the last minute…). I had to put up a bit of a weaker team because of fitness. However, we put up a fight. But the Brazilians did it for Chelsea, and we went out of Europe with a defeat. I don’t really mind not playing in Europe, because now we can focus on the Eredivisie and the KNVB Beker. Star man was Rekik, scoring after coming off the bench.

Champions League Group B Final Table :

A very bad way to go out of Europe...
Unlucky, but you can win the league!
tallery1164: Yeah, pretty bad way to go out.. But I think we can win it as well, the Eredivisie really isn't the hardest of competitions, and I'm happy with our form at the moment.
you have a good advantage already in the league...but this season in Champions League was a bad one! As you said, with some transfers, next season it will get better!

End of 2013

PSV-sc Heerenveen (14-12-2013) Line-Ups:

PSV-sc Heerenveen Summary:

My Comments:
Heerenveen is another team that is underperforming, in my opinion. They should be in the top 8, but they’re only 11th. It was a very even match, and it was pretty poor from both sides. The only difference was, we finished 2 chances, they finished 0. It was a poor match, but I’m pleased that we got another win. Our player of the match was Ruiz, who got himself a goal, his 2nd of this season.

Helmond Sport-PSV (17-12-2013) Line-Ups:

Helmond Sport-PSV Summary:

My Comments:
An East-Brabant derby, it should be an interesting game. A game we should really win, it should be relatively easy. We did, however concede the 1-0. Luckily we managed to get ourselves a goal, but in the 70th minute, I had used all my subs, and Depay left the field injured (he’s out for 5 to 6 weeks…). This meant I had to continue with 10 players. But fortunately, we scored the 2-1 just before the referee blew the whistle. It wasn’t a good victory, but they count too. I’m happy that we’ve reached the quarter-final of the KNVB Beker. Man of the match was Matavz, scoring the 1-1. In the next round, we’re playing recently promoted PEC Zwolle. You could say we’re getting lucky in the draw!

PSV-FC Twente (01-01-2014) Line-Ups:

PSV-FC Twente Summary:

My Comments:
Last game before the winter break, and I wanted to give the fans a good win to get them through 3 weeks without football. But we didn’t give them that, we gave them the opposite: a bad match, and a bad result. We had more shots, but for once we didn’t finish any of them. We’re still first by quite a lot of points, so it wasn’t that bad after all. Star man today was Schaars, he distributed the play from midfield, but it didn’t pay off in the end.

Eredivisie Standings on 01-01-2014:
AAN: Yeah, pretty bad performance in the CL, but it;s probably the squad peth, I'll really get some depth into the squad in the summer.

Josh_MU: Thanks a lot! I'm really enjoying playing, and making the graphics. I'm glad you like it!

PSV announce big transfer news

PSV have today officialy announced the signing of young Brazilian centre-back Bruno Nascimento from 2nd Bundesliga team 1.FC Köln. The 22-year-old had joined for a fee of 2.9 million Euros. It is expected that Nascimento will join as a back-up to solid central duo Rekik-Bruma in the first place. De Wit had this to say on the official PSV site: "I'm pleased to announce this signing, Bruno will be a fine signing for our squad, after the departure of Jörgensen we lacked some depth in the defense." Nascimento was very pleased to follow players like Alex and Ronaldo, as he is the first Brazilian PSV have signed in quite a long time. He is the first signing that De Wit made this transfer period.

PSV also announced the loaning out of Thomas Horsten (GA Eagles), Hjörtur Hermannsson (Quick Boys), Augustine Loof (FC Eindhoven), Dennis Dengering (PEC Zwolle), Nigel Bertrams (De Graafschap), Junior Lima dos Santos (FC Emmen) and Bram van Vlerken (RKC)

The Start of a New Year

AZ-PSV (22-01-2014) Line-Ups:

Narsingh is back from injury, and Depay is almost back to full fitness.

AZ-PSV Summary:

My Comments:
A pretty hard away match, but it had to be won by a title contender. Luckily, he won this match. When we fell 1-0 behind, I thought that it would be another hard away match. It turned out not be, as ex-AZ-player Stijn Schaars scored both of our goals. He also was our man of the match, with an impressive 9,1.

Heracles-PSV (25-01-2014) Line-Ups:

Heracles-PSV Summary:

My Comments:
Another away match, but this time against a team that isn't too hard to beat. And we beat them with ease. Ruiz scored the first hattrick for PSV this season, and it will surely boost his happiness, because I haven't been playing him that much. Man of the match was, of course, Bryan Ruiz with a very impressive 9,6. I don't think I will sign him on a permanent basis, though.

PEC Zwolle-PSV (29-01-2014) Line-Ups:

PEC Zwolle-PSV Summary:

My Comments:
Our 3rd away match in a row, but this time in the Dutch Cup. Once again, the draw has been quite lucky to us. Because Nascimento made a very dumb foul in the 18 yard box, Niang put PEC up 1-0 from the penalty spot. When Nijland scored the 2-0, it wasn't looking great. Luckily, Ruiz scored the 2-1 before the break. And in the last minute of extra time, Bruma scored a dramatic equaliser! In the second half of extra time, Park scored the 3-2. Park has been very composed all match long, as opposed to some of our young, inexperienced players. That's why Park got the man of the match award, with a 7,6. In the semi-final, we're facing FC Oss at home. The reason these draws have been easy, is because literally all good teams have been knocked out.

Quarter-Final Results KNVB Beker:

If he reach the final, we will face either RKC or Fortuna Sittard
Some great results there! Love this story!

tallery1164: Thanks! I'm glad a lot of people are enjoying this, as it's my first story on here :)
I think we can win the Eredivisie and the KNVB Beker this season, if we play well.
Yeah, your draws have been lucky so far, and you are beating the top teams in the league so why not?
