Congrats Naveed, hopefully this will just be a small landmark though in what proves to be a long and very successful story!
Josh_MU: Thanks mate! :) I'm glad you're enjoying it!

pompeyblue: Thanks a lot Josh, I hope so! :D

WAIT WHAT?!
#Illuminati dear Pauker :/

October Update

We're pushing up the table, we lost key points so far in this campaign but we have to step it up if we're looking to gain promotion:

Transfers

IN

October was a mixed month, some disappointments but other than that it was okay:

Stevenage 1-2 Coventry City (A)

Sky Bet League 1

John Fleck (38')
Callum Wilson (85')
Marcus Haber (90')

Marcus Haber (Stevenage) -- 8.3

Match Review
I'm pleased we managed to pick up three points in this game, but we should have beat them by a bigger margin than this and the fact that the man of the match was a Stevenage player shows that we played awfully.

Coventry City 2-1 Sheffield United (H)

Sky Bet League 1

John Fleck (3')
Danny Seaborne (18')
Jamie Murphy (26')

John Fleck (Coventry City) -- 8.3

Match Review
Again, a tight margin but we triumphed over a strong Sheffield United, moving us further up the table.

Wolverhampton 3-1 Coventry (A)

Sky Bet League 1

James Henry (20')
Leon Clarke (32', 80')
Callum Wilson (35')

James Henry (Wolves) -- 9.0

Match Review
Our march up the table was halted by a very strong Wolverhampton side who were clear favourites to beat us, which they did, continuing their hunt for League 1 glory.

Coventry City 2-0 Leyton Orient (H)

Sky Bet League 1

Cyrus Christie (56')
Nathan Delfouneso (62')

Jordan Willis (Coventry City) -- 7.8

Match Review
This was a simple, easy game in which we came out as winners, bringing vital three points home.

Walsall 3-2 Coventry City (A)

Sky Bet League 1

Romaine Sawyers (21')
Dylan McGeouch (53')
Callum Wilson (82')
James Baxendale (86')
Michael Ngoo (90')

Michael Ngoo (Walsall) -- 8.3

Match Review
We were winning 2-1 until the 86th minute when complacency kicked in and we dropped all three points which would have pushed us into the promotion play-off spots.

Player of the Month

Callum Wilson wins this award by a mile, simply because of his class in front of goal. He is brilliant at finishing, and everytime the ball left his foot it ended up at the back of the net.

Manager of the Month

Steve Evans of Rotherham wins this month's managerial award, he's done brilliantly over the past few games.

Here are the fixtures for next month, the matches against Bradford and MK Dons are going to be mouth-watering:

Author's Notes

A good month, we managed to push further up the table despite losing two games which is a plus.
Not a bad month at all, and, considering you were docked 10 points at the start, you are doing really well! The playoff spots are not far away, you might just find yourself in the promotion race come end of the season :)
Disappointing to lose to Walsall, Wolves not so bad but other than that some good results and a good month in general!

WAIT WHAT?!
A good month except some unfortunate defeats!
Neal: Thanks buddy, I certainly hope so! We're performing better than I thought we would at the start of the season :)

Josh: Thanks man, Wolves were really hard to play, Walsall were frustrating :/

Josh_MU: Cheers mate, those were unlucky to some extent, but we were shite :P

STORY POSTPONED

Unfortunately, I have had lots of work to do recently and I can't keep up with it so I have to postpone the next update for a few days :) thanks for reading
Ahh, shame :(

November Update

Almost there... We're rising:

I couldn't have asked for a better month to be honest, and one of the best finishes to the month I have ever had:

Coventry City 3-1 Notts County (H)

Sky Bet League 1

Denzel Slager (24')
Raheem Henley (32')
Franck Moussa (67', 69')

Denzel Slager (Coventry City) -- 9.1

Match Review
A good start to the month at home to Notts County. We were favourites and I'm glad I didn't see an upset.

Coventry City 2-1 Stevenage (H)

FA Cup 1st Round

Anthony Furlonge (36')
Callum Wilson (62')
Denzel Slager (81')

Denzel Slager (Coventry City) -- 7.4

Match Review
A tight margin but we're through to the next round only because a late winner saved my players a roasting in the dressing room.

Bradford 1-2 Coventry (A)

Sky Bet League 1

Jordan Willis (20')
Franck Moussa (45')
James Hanson (74')

John Fleck (Coventry City) -- 8.0

Match Review
This match was great, both sides almost fought to the death and were both down to 9 men due to injuries. However, it was Coventry who prevailed at the end.

Coventry City 1-0 Tranmere Rovers (H)

Sky Bet League 1

Cyrus Christie (2')

Cyrus Christie (Coventry City) -- 8.2

Match Review
Contrary to the previous match, this was very, very boring. We took an early lead through Christie and we managed to hold onto that lead throughout the game.

Coventry City 3-2 Rotherham (H)

Sky Bet League 1

Craig Morgan (26')
Franck Moussa (40')
Callum Wilson (45+2')
Mike Addison (61')
Ryan Haynes (90')

Franck Moussa (Coventry City) -- 8.3

Match Review
There is nothing more satisfying than grabbing a late winner, and that's exactly what happened here as super-sub Ryan Haynes volleyed a perfect shot into the back of the net, bringing the three points home.

MK Dons 3-6 Coventry City (A)

Sky Bet League 1

Jordan Clarke (8')
Carl Baker (17')
Ryan Hall (55')
Nathan Delfouneso (56', 66', 70')
Dean Bowditch (76', 77')
Denzel Slager (79')

Nathan Delfouneso (Coventry City) -- 9.6

Match Review
An amazing nine-goal thriller ended the month for us on a high, with Nathan Delfouneso scoring a quick 14-minute hattrick to strengthen our run up the league table. This was a perfect month.

Player of the Month

Nathan Delfouneso deserves this month's POTM award simply because he is quality. He scored a hattrick in the final match against MK Dons and has assisted goals throughout the month.

Manager of the Month

FINALLY I get recognition for my hard work. I definitely deserved it this month and I'm glad to see my hard work paid off.

Here are the fixtures for next month before the January transfer window:
