"It is a dreary day in Monchengladbach as the firing of former Gladbach coach Lucien Farve has been finalized after a down year from the previous season. Who do they turn to as their new leader? An unknown man from Canada of all nations, Jacob Haynes. No one know's how he got here or why he is here but he is here now."

The goal of this challenge is to take over Germany and eventually Europe.

Brazilian Wonder Kid Signs With Gladbach

Gladbach have secured the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Barbosa from Santos for a fee of $4.1 million ($2.5 million over 48 months)

Haynes was asked about his plans for the young striker and he says "I will be looking to give some first team playing time as soon as he is elible to play when he turns 17 years old."

The Brazilian striker will join the German Gladbach at the end of August.
Just as I was about to leave my office on the eve of the start of the season against Hertha BSC, my assistant coach comes into my office and asks me "Who is life as a manager so far?"

I respond with "There is a learning curve but I am getting the hang of it." Angrily he fires back with "For the record you are sitting in my seat. I should've took over the head coaching job not you. I've been here for four years patiently waiting to take over the head coaching position. But who do they bring in? A no name from Canada!"

I look him straight in the eye and say "I hope you have enjoyed your four years at this club. You are gone."

Player of the Month

Max had a great month scoring 4 goals in 5 games including an assist over the month of August earning himself the Gladbach August Player of the Month

Transfers In

I'm happy with this signing and think he will be a big part of the future of Gladbach as not showing up here is Gabriel Barbosa the Brazilian Wonderkid who will be getting a lot of playing time even at his very young ago at the start of next season when he joins

Transfers Out

I was hoping would have interest in more of my players but none the less I though I got great value for De Jong as I play a formation with only one striker and I prefer Max Kruse so I feel like getting $11.25 million was a good deal.
