Queens Park Rangers have officially announced the departure of former manager Harry Redknapp. Redknapp who started the role on 24th Novemeber 2012, where he led the club to have two average seasons in the top flight of English football. Up until 10 March 2013, he was known as king harry.

Now harry had left it was up to QPR to find a new manager, in a press conference club chairman Tony Fernandes told ESPN “We are looking for that perfect person, experience is not needed.” With Fernandes looking to sell his 66% share in the club to wealthy Australians, either QPR could go up or down with all these changes at once.

Therefore, who is going to be the man in Charge next season for the R’s, with only three days until the transfer window opens, let us hope QPR can find there man. With greats such as Neil Lennon, Tim Cahill and former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson up there also with two complete underdogs Lewis Prichard-Elis and George Evans the latest odds on the next manager:

George Evans – 2/1
Tim Cahill – Evens
Neil Lennon – 15/1
Sven-Goran Eriksson – 36/1
Lewis Prichard-Ellis – 350/1

Being tipped to win the Championship QPR fans will be praying there new manager is the best one possible. New Everton Manager, Roberto Martinez says he hopes his former Chester FC teammate Evans becomes the man in the dugout at Loftus Road.

Queens Park Rangers: “Evans will create the buzz we need” - QPR Hire Evans.

QPR are happy to announce they have signed Evans on a four-year contract, George Evans aged 37 had had past playing experience at Chester FC, Man City and Everton failing to break through to the first team. He then became a scout for York City in 2006 and has made a name for himself in the scouting world, being at clubs in Spain, Italy and even America. Evans has a very strong connection with Spanish club, Real Murcia CF and French club PSG. Evans is yet to speak with press but has tweeted (@Georgeevans_) “I’m feeling on top of the world, come on you Rs #Promotion”

However, Spanish newspapers suggest Evans was linked with Celta de Vigo due to Luis Enrique leaving for personal issues, Evans was quick to deny any talk with Celta.

Evans’ first press conference is set to be held tomorrow at 13:00 live on BT Sport
Sky Channel 413

Live and Exclusive: Evans first conference

GE – George Evans
PO – Press Officers
TF – Tony Fernandes

The conference was set to start at 13:00 and did not start until 13:45 with some press tweeting “How much longer #TimeWasting”

TF – Hello all and thank you for coming, it gives me great pleasure for me to announce and introduce to you that George Evans will be in charge of the club till 2017 and here is he now

*Applauds around the room*

GE – Thank you, it means a lot. Yes as Tony was saying, I shall be hopefully leading the club to glory until at least 2017.

TF - Thanks George, there will be photo opportunities at the end, now I will hand over to the press.

PO – So is this your dream come true a premier league manager with not much managing history?

GE – Erm, you know it’s beyond a dream come true, I feel proud of myself and the fact QPR haven given me a chance to prove myself is unbelievable.

PO – You are still a well-known scout; with hopefully new owners coming in with a massive spending budget, can you be saying players will be coming in?

GE - *Laughs* Obviously I will be bringing in nothing but the best players we can bring in here, you know I’ve got a massive scouting knowledge and have a great head scout here at the club so yeah, players will be coming in and leaving.

PO – Raheem Sterling is a subject everyone would like to know about, could you explain what is currently happening?

GE – Raheem is soon to be one of the best. He is budding with talent and one talented player. Nevertheless, if he feels Liverpool is the place to go, then let it be.

PO – Last question now, are you looking forward to working with Bond in the upcoming seasons?

GE – Obviously I will be bond is a great assistant with an exciting footballing brain. Thanks for your time today.

Could QPR lose out on Sterling?

QPR will be making absolutely no money on their young wonder kid Raheem Sterling as he seems to not accept a new contract for the Rs. With Sam Byram of Leeds one of Evans’ targets money will be tight for QPR but Evans is confident he can make it work, “Money is tight here yes but I will offload anybody who I don’t see in my plans to ensure I get the players I need”

Brendan Rogers is more than happy to announce interest in Sterling but won’t say how much the player is worth.

Evans has already singed two players 20 year old Portuguese striker Delatorre and 29 year old former spurs man Niko Kranjcar, rumours suggest the players cost 4.2mil.
George has also been busy shifting players out either on loan or permanently with the pick of his transfers Junior Hoillet to Spurs for 7.5mil.

Many QPR fans were not happy about this however with such a promising pre-season friendly suffering only one draw with Stevenage, could this be the season?

Sterling Out Byram In

QPRs transfer deadline day was a manic one, sadly Evans’ said good bye to Sterling and in the last few hours welcomed Sam Byram through the doors at Loftus Road. Byram tweeted saying “Excited to be a part of such a club… #COYR. Thanks for the time @LeedsFC” QPRs season got off to a W/D/L but there team Carried them through with an impressive 5-3 win over Dagenham and Redbridge. Charlie Austin’s start came to no real surprise as Evans hired in Drogba to coach him and he got off to a superb season start with 6 goals in 7 games.
