Futbol Club Barcelona (Catalan pronunciation: [fubˈbɔɫ ˈkɫub bərsəˈɫonə] ( listen)), also known as Barcelona and familiarly as Barça, is a professional football club, based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
Founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, English and Catalan footballers led by Joan Gamper, the club has become a symbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto "Més que un club" (More than a club). Unlike many other football clubs, the supporters own and operate Barcelona. It is the world's second-richest football club in terms of revenue, with an annual turnover of $613 million, and the third most valuable sports team on the globe, worth $2.6 billion. The official Barcelona anthem is the "Cant del Barça", written by Jaume Picas and Josep Maria Espinàs.

Barcelona is the most successful club in Spain, in terms of overall official titles won (82). Barcelona was ranked first in the 'All-Time Club World Ranking' by IFFHS, on 31 December 2009, and was placed on top of the 2012/13 UEFA club rankings. It has won 22 La Liga, 26 Copa del Rey, 11 Supercopa de España, 3 Copa Eva Duarte and 2 Copa de la Liga trophies, as well as being the record holder for the latter four competitions. In international club football, Barcelona has won four UEFA Champions League, a record four UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, four UEFA Super Cup, a record three Inter-Cities Fairs Cup[note 2] and a record two FIFA Club World Cup trophies. The club has a long-standing rivalry with Real Madrid; matches between the two teams are referred to as "El Clásico".

Barcelona is one of the most supported teams in the world, and has the largest fan base among all sports teams on all major social networks. Barcelona's players have won a record number of Ballon d'Or awards , as well as a record number of FIFA World Player of the Year awards . In 2010, the club created history when three players who came through its youth academy (Messi, Iniesta & Xavi) were chosen as the three best players in the world, having bagged the top spots at the FIFA Ballon d'Or, an unprecedented feat for players from the same football school.
Good Luck!

Pre-Season

Six matches were arranged for pre-season in order to get the team in prime condition for big kickoff in a months time, we kicked it off with a 3 match tour of China against Qingdao, Changchun and Shandong Luneng resulting in 2 wins and a draw. Budyonkor next up and a 2-0 win kept our unbeaten pre-season alive
Liverpool visited the Nou Camp in the view of getting some well needed match toughness through the players but we absolutely steam rolled the Merseysiders, we finished it all off with a 3-1 win over Al-Ittihad.

Barcelona have moved quickly to sign two very good young prospects in Neal Maupay and Foday Nabay. both players were recommended very highly by our chief scout and will move straight to La Masia with our under 19's

Koke, the Atletico Madrid starlet has joined the club after Barcelona triggered his release clause of 30.5m, he will join up with the main squad and learn of Xavi

the rebuilding process starts here, weve decided to let 11 of our young players go because they dont have enough quality to play for the club, Adriano and Bojan were deemed surplus to requirements and were subsequently sold to PSG and Bayer Leverkusen respectively

Barcelona have been drawn into a relatively easy group against Sporting Lisbon, Ajax and Viktoria Plzen, i think Ajax will be our main threat in this group but saying that we should definitely qualify for the next round with ease
