OCTOBER GOAL FEST AS ADAMS TAKES ALL THE PLAUDITS....

After the defeat to Newcastle Joint League leaders at the end of September, Adams expected a positive reaction from his squad. Which in part they DIDN'T FAIL TO PROVIDE in a month which saw goals, goals and more goals.

FIRST CAME ZENITH..... Adams gave his team a thorough talking too following the Newcastle defeat and his players RESPONDED WTH THIS

Then came RVP AND UTD.... RVP wasn't his normal self, with Mertesacker silencing him all game long. Arsenal came out sleeping yet again tho conceding within 6 mins but they quickly responded through Giroud. Before two quick 2nd half goals from Walcott provided Arsenal with a 3-1 win over their rivals.

Crystal Palace were next and with two wins already behind them this month Adams rested several players thinking he was going to get a easy win other relegation battling Palace. And wasn't he wrong GOAL FEST, THE NEUTRALS LOVED IT pictures speak a thousand words.

EUROPEAN AWAY DAY..... Dortmund put Arsenal and Adams back in their place with a drubbing. Giroud scoring a late consolation goal in the 83rd min after Dortmund had put 5 past Sczcesny the 4th and 5th coming after Mats Hummels had been Dismissed for Violent Conduct in the 58th min.

After that Humiliating Defeat at the hands of Dortmund, Arsenal faced a physical Stoke side. Podolski settled nerves early on before Stoke equalised through Crouch on the touch of half time, 2 injury time goals from Podolski and Walcott gave Arsenal a much needed confidence boost winning 3-1.

Carling CupCLASH OF THE ROUND....Man City took on Arsenal in the 4th round with Arsenal sitting above City in the league they were Favourites and they delivered comfortably taking the game 2-0 with Cazorla and Giroud scoring either side of half time.

After a month of goals galore.....ADAMS GETS MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD. Adams will be thanking his strikers after an impressive month netting no fewer than 22 times, which got him out of trouble on a few occasions after LEAKY DEFENCE lets in 13 goals in 6 games.

We bring the Quarter Final draw live for you now, with six out of the eight teams plying their trade in the Premiership, with the remaining two battling it out in the Championship.

The teams to look out for in tonight's draw are new man Tony Adams's Arsenal side, who are looking to win their first trophy in 8 years the last being the F.A Cup in 2005 under recently departed Arsene Wenger.

Liverpool and Manchester Utd are the other two teams expected to put a claim to the cup.

So here we are......

Well that is an exciting draw we are definitely going to see 3 Premiership teams in the semis, but undoubtedly the tie of the round is Liverpool v Arsenal.

If Arsenal win this it puts them in a strong position to claim that long awaited silverware.

Good morning Sports fans

We have some news to bring you today Friday 22nd November 2013 about a contract extension at Arsenal, after his appointment on 2nd July 2013 Less than 7 months ago Tony Adams has been offered a new LONG TERM CONTRACT which will keep him at the club until June 2017. Adams has guided Arsenal to the summit of the Premiership in his short time at the club, booked a Quarter final spot in the Capital One Cup and secured qualification to the knockout phase of the Champions League.

This has obviously impressed the Arsenal Board who have openly expressed their delight at the way the team is performing, and convinced them to offer Adams a new contract.

It is believed that due to how well the team is performing the terms of the new contract have changed, and the board are now expecting Arsenal to challenge for the title. Where as before they were only asking for a Top Four finish.

Managing Director Ivan Gazidis commented on the contract extension earlier today stating that '' The board of directors and myself are very excited by the way Tony has got the team playing, and with the current standing in the league and progress in cup competitions we feel it is only right to praise the work Tony is doing by offering him a long term contract. Providing him with more time to get this great club back to winning trophies on a regular basis''.

Adams also released a brief statement '' Id just like to say how proud I am to be offered a new long term contract, so soon after my appointment. I believe that with this current bunch of players and maybe some new additions in the future, I can take this club back to the glory days that I experienced as a player at this famous club''.

Well you heard it here first folks Arsenal have extend the contract of manager Tony Adams until June 2017, after a great start from the new manager on all fronts.
November

Arsenal fans were graced with a month of superb football from their favourite stars who are fast becoming the favourites to take the Premiership title, if they can keep up their current form.

A journey across the capital saw Arsenal take on Fulham at the Cottage, in a game that was dominated from start to finish from the performing Gunners. Ozil opened the scoring after 14 mins before Giroud Smashed home a Header from a quick corner on 37 min. Fulham then gifted Arsenal the 3rd mid way through the 2nd half with an OG, he game was then finished off by Mathieu Flamini who has seen 1st team opportunities hard to come by with the signing of Matuidi. Fulham grabbed a consolation goal at the death with the game finishing 4-1.

Arsenal then hosted Dortmund and were looking for a better result than the previous encounter which saw them thrashed 5-1 by the Germans. The game provided a fierce battle with no fewer than nine yellow cards being shown, Dortmund took the lead on the stroke of half time before rb Bacary Sagna found himself in an unusual goal scoring position but he didn't fail to take the chance and levelled up the score. With Dortmund already through Arsenal only needed the point to secure Qualification so rather than attack both teams sat back for the remainder and settled for a 1- draw.

Next up was Norwich and after a tough midweek fixture against Dortmund Arsenal was playing with tired legs and it showed in an encounter than saw Mertesacker score after 3 minutes for the Gunners, climbing above the Norwich defence to head home from a Cazorla set piece. Arsenal then shut up shop and played slow possession football for the remainder of the game to steady their already tired legs, Arsenal winning 1-0.

The game of the month was Arsenals Domination of Hull, which saw the Gunners put 5 goals past the Hull keeper before half time.

Arsenal continued scoring for fun in Europe when they put seven past P.Ferriera even after going down to 10 men before half time with Koscielny seeing a straight red for a professional foul. Oxlade-Chamberlain got himself on the score sheet twice after 6 mins and 19 mins, before Insigne starting his first game since his long term injury sustained in pre-season scored a scorcher on 36 mins. Transfer listed Nicklas Bendtner who was put in the team to get him in the shop window scored a quick double before half time either side of Koscielny's red card. Cazorla then finished the thumping getting two late goals with the game ending 7-0.

Arsenal then hosted Everton in the final game of the month, in a game which saw them score all three goals in a 2-1 win. Mertesacker giving Everton the lead with a deflected clearance, ex Everton star Arteta then got Arsenal level before Giroud got himself on the score sheet again just before half time.

November also saw Adams claim his 2nd Manager of the month award

thanks for your support, and yeah If I'm honest I only ever really manage Arsenal being a life long fan, although I do try other teams occasionally I tend to give up early as the appeal isn't there. But with Arsenal I have mastered a formation and team tactics that work well with the squad that's inherited, and with additions of signings only makes it stronger, but obviously it's still down too the game if it's going to work on each particular save.....but it's going how I want so far
Great results with arsenal and nice updates!

I'm sorry to all of those that are following this story but due to unforeseen circumstances noticeably my motherboard burning out thus destroying my laptop, I can no longer continue to blog as I don't have a game to play lol.....I'm looking to buy a new laptop within a day or two so I will be starting a new story soon
It's cool:) as you continue to gain experience, you should learn even more coming into the next save making it stronger to read and as a performance :D Good luck!

Great story so far, last 5-1 defeat to Dortmund must have stung a bit, especially after the convincing win against Man Utd.

What formation have you gone for? I love the gunners and only want to play with them also but I cant get the formation right for constant success. Very frustrating.

once I get up and running again I will post a pic of my formation/tactics and squad instructions for you to take a look at and use as you wish.....normally I don't sign anyone I just use current squad and youth players, and still have the same success, I only signed players to make this story more interesting.
