Fans comming to The Molineux Stadium to see the new Wolves' manager
Just being relegated in the Sky Bet League 1, Wolverhampton were reported to be looking for a new manager. Rumour confirmed! In what is named to be a shocking decision from the Wolves' board, they named a totally unknown young head coach from Romania.
His name is Adrian-Ioan Mircea and he is born on October 18th 1987. Turning 26 next birthday, Mircea is known in his country as an ambitious and determined coach, but even if his co-nationals are praising his qualities, no one could even think that he can be a club like Wolves' manager at his age.
How did Wolverhampton' boss Steve Morgan found him? Probably no one in the world can answer that question. But, a rumour says that Mircea was appointed as the new Wolves' manager at Ionel Ganea's recommendation, former Romanian striker who played at Molineux for 3 seasons, from 2003 to 2006. With no former player career, but with a new mentality and a good coach-studies CV, Mircea is reccomended by some former Romanian players known among the English Football' fans like Dan Petrescu or Florin R?ducioiu like a coach who "really knows how football should be played".
Club sources say that Mircea signed an one year contract with Wolves, but depending of the club' results, his period as Wanderers' manager can be more long than just one season.
"I'm absolutelly delighted, that was my dream: my first job to be at a club like Wolverhampton is." were the only words Mircea told the press since his arrival in England.
With all of these praised qualities of the Romanian, but with a new, young mentality at the club, it's absolutelly interesting how Wolves' fans will react after the new manager's appointment: will they criticize the move or they will wait to see the first results with him on Wanderers' bench?
