On Football Manager 2014, everyone's been there and done that in almost every aspect on the game. There is a couple of exceptions to that rule of thumb, and for the next few months until the release of FM 2015, I will be writing a story based around one of the exceptions. I will be starting a story with an MLS club, a league that has a very small number of stories. Very few people start stories based in the Major League Soccer, because of the low standard and low number of wealthy clubs in the league. It is almost impossible to make an MLS club the #1 football club in the world, simply because of the well known fact that the MLS has a dreaded salary cap. In my new story, I shall be starting with a poor team with poor finances, and attempt to make the club the #1 club in North America. And no, I will not be starting as LA Galaxy, Seatte Sounders, Toronto or one of those massive names. I will be starting as the fairly small Kansas-based American club, Sporting Kansas City.

I will be playing through my story as a die-hard life-long fan who became the manager because of his excellent accomplishments managing Sporting Kansas City on Football Manager 2014. His name will be Jack Smith, a 21 year old American born in Austin, Texas. Smith moved to Kansas City at the age of 4, and has lived there for the remainder of his life. I don't want to spoil the start of the story, and therefore I will not be releasing any more information on the story. I hope you enjoy!
Great start, but try adding pictures to make it more interesting :)
Good luck!

SPORTING KC SIGN SEVILLA
http://www.muchodeporte.com/media/imagenes/20110320123536-649.jpg

Spanish attacking midfielder, Salva Sevilla, has completed a move to Sporting Kansas City following a short period of free agency. The 28-year old, who agreed to join the growing American team several days ago, passed his medical and signed a three-year deal. Sevilla, surprisingly released by Spanish club Real Betis, looks set to replace club legend Graham Zusi as the starting attacking midfielder, pushing Zusi back to play in a central midfield role. Sevilla, due to his Spanish nationality, will fill one of Sporting Kansas City's international player slots, however newly appointed Kansas City manager, Jack Smith, was still delighted with his talented new signing.

Sevilla, despite his fairly old age, has signed a three-year deal with Sporting Kansas City however in a recent conference has announced his commitment to improving the MLS with his talent, and helping his club win trophies for years to come. He [Sevilla] will earn 3.9k a week, and much to the surprise of the general public will not become SKC's first designated player. Jack Smith, the newly appointed manager of Sporting KC has announced that he will look to sign the club's [Sporting Kansas City] first designated player in the Winter transfer window.
This looks great so far... Good luck!
A nice start to the thread mate and a decent signing in Sevilla.
Looking good, like the layout :)
