On a fine summer evening Juventus went to Cesena, on Stadio Dino Manuzzi to take on newly promoted Cesena. Only one injury for Del Piero's side, Claudio Marchisio is still recovering from a pre-season injury, he still has a month to go. Stephan Lichsteiner is suspended after he was sent off against Sassuolo.

Alex fielded: Buffon - Barzagli, Balanta, Chiellini - Isla, Pirlo, Asamoah - Vidal, Pogba - Tevez - Llorente

Juve were supposed to win this game without any trouble beeing strong favourites. And the game started with the champions attacking from the kick-off and in the 5th minute Tevez came close to scoring but Leali stoped the shot.

The Cesena defence were carved open for the first time in the 13th minute. A fine piece of attacking play from Juventus saw Arturo Vidal tacking on an opponent on the right hand side and serving Fernando Llorente in front of an opened goal, a chance that he just could not miss and it was 1-0 Juventus. For the delight of the 2000 Juve fans in the stadium.

Juventus continued to attack and Tevez, Pogba and Asamoah had a couple of chances to score but Leali was just fantastic. Leali is a loaned player from Juventus. Break time came and Juventus was just 1-0 up, but it should have been more.

The second half started just like the first one, with Juventus in the attack, with Carlos Tevez hitting the post just 2 minute after the start. The pressure continued and Cesena's defence could do more. In the 51st minute a corner taken by Andreea Pirlo ended up om Balanta's head and Leali could do no more, 2-0 Juventus.

From that moment eased the pressure and retained possesion, the game was over. Tevez had the last goal chance in the 85th minute but Leali blocked the shot.

2-0 Juve and 6 points from 2 games!

In an interview for Juventus Channel said that:

- It was a long pre-season and physical and mental fatigue has been understandably felt, but we now have 2 weeks to recover and built for the Champions League games. A lot of players will go on international duty, i just hope that none of them come back injured.

We had 3 good games so far, we are looking strong, but it's only the beginning of the season and i want the team to be at full strenght in the spring when it will be the most important.
Juventus - Atalanta 0-0

After 2 weeks of international games, the Serie A came back. Juventus hosted Atalanta at Juventus Stadium, a game that Juve should have won, but they just couldn't score.

After a bore first half, with only one important thing happening, Vidal hiting the post, the second half began with a different Juventus side. Attacking from the kick off, Llorente and Tevez tested Consigli with 2 powerful shots. In the 65th minute Alvaro Moratta came on to the field substituting Llorente, who had a awful game, and managed to score just 3 minutes later, but the goal was called of for offside.

Juventus continued to put pressure on the nerazurri defence but the ball didn't want to go in and it finished 0-0.

After the game Alex said: It was a strange game, we did not look the same as the first 3 games. I think this brake didn't do us any good and if we want to beat Anderlecht on wednesday we will have to look different.

A special show from the croud, who showed a special choreography for this game.

And so it came, the first Champions League for Alessandro Del Piero as head coach. Anderlecht Bruxelles came to Juventus Stadium. The Belgium champions were hopping to go back home with a good result and started the game very motivated.

The first chance of the game came after 11 minutes when Vidal had a shot from outside the penalty area but keeper Kaminsky awarded a corner after a fine intervention.

From that corner came the first goal of the game, Pirlo took the corner which met Chiellini's header, Kaminsky blocked the ball but it ended up at Chiellini's feet and he put the ball in the empty net. 1-0 Juventus!

Anderlecht's player showed that the early goal came as a punch in the balls and Juventus had 2 great chances to score through Llorente and Asamoah. The spanish striker ended up alone with Kaminsky after a brilliant pass from Vidal, but he could not find the goal. And Asamoah was opened up by Pirlo on the left hand side but his shot met the post and went out.

The 36th minute came and it was Pirlo's genius again. He found Lichtsteiner with a fantastic through ball and left him all alone with Kaminsky. The swiss defender did his job finding the net with a shot at goal. 2-0 Juventus with no reply!

Break time and it's all Juventus!

In the second half we should have seen a different belgian side but they out worse, 2 minutes into the game and Llorente scores for the third time for Juventus. Tevez with the assist and an easy goal for the spaniard, 3-0 and game over!

After that goal the Juventus players looked as if they wanted the to end earlier. No real goal chances were created and it finished 3-0, an easy victory for Juventus.
Great win against Anderlecht! :D
