32' GOAL! BERGESSIO! CATANIA LEVEL!

An absolutely fantastic through ball from Federico Freire and Gonzalo Bergessio races through to score! What a crucial goal for Etnei!

1. Juventus 71 pts
2. Catania 71 pts
3. Napoli 71 pts
38' CHANCES FOR NAPOLI AND CAGLIARI!

Imagine the effects this could have had on the Title race! Marco Sau, the Serie A Top Scorer this year, races through on goal and sees his low shot tipped round the post by Buffon. Then at the Giuseppe Meazza, Marek Hamsik tries a shot from 20 yards out that flies narrowly wide!

Torino 1-1 Catania
Inter 0-0 Napoli
Juventus 1-0 Cagliari
45' HALF TIME...OH! GOAL FOR NAPOLI!

The half time whistle has sounded in 2 of the 3 title challengers' games today, but in the other one we have a goal! Lorenzo Insigne is the provider, squaring the ball after a delightful run and Gonzalo Higuain couldn't miss!

1. Napoli 73 pts
2. Juventus 71 pts
3. Catania 71 pts

And now it's half time in all our games.
So at half time it's advantage Napoli...

Inter 0-1 Napoli
The Partenopei just need to hang on to this lead, and if things stay like this, they're champions. But Inter did threaten in that first half, and saw a shot come clanging off the bar from Wallace. The game is far from dead, and should make for an interesting spectacle.

Torino 1-1 Catania
Catania need to win, simple as that. They survived an early scare courtesy of Ciro Immobile but still need to put another past already - relegated Torino. Torino have the potential to mix it up with Immobile though, so this is another intriguing one.

Juventus 1-0 Cagliari
Juventus have dominated so far and aside from one Marco Sau break, they have looked comfortable. They lead through Bonucci and it would be a huge shock if they relinquished that lead. However, at the moment it doesn't matter what they do, as Napoli are ahead.

46' We're back underway.
53' GOAL JUVENTUS! TEVEZ!

Fantastic finish from Tevez after being played through by Pirlo. Awful defending again from Cagliari; Agim Ibraimi plays Tevez onside. Juventus' lead consolidated.
62' CHANCE FOR INTER!

Kovacic deserves so much praise for this move as he slips in Rodrigo Palacio. The Argentine's chip is acrobatically tipped over by Reina. Close call for Napoli...
72' GOAL FOR INTER!
It has been coming...Palacio turns provider this time as he crosses from deep. Fredy Guarin waltzes in to sweep past Reina and severely damage Napoli's title hopes.

1. Juventus 71 pts
2. Catania 71 pts
3. Napoli 71 pts
78' GGGGOOOOAAAALLLL FOR CATANIA!!!

WHAT A GOAL FROM BERGESSIO! Nothing has been happening since Catania equalised. Nothing, that is, until Gonzalo Bergessio picks up the ball on the halfway line and runs with it. He gets to about 25 yards out before crashing an excellent finish into the back of the net past the Torino 'keeper. Can they hold on now, to their first Serie A Title?

1. Catania 73 pts
2. Juventus 71 pts
3. Napoli 71 pts
81' GOAL FOR JUVENTUS

Well, it boosts the Goals For tally, but not much else here for Juventus. Marchisio scores a tidy finish after the ball was laid back to him. 3-0.

Torino 1-2 Catania
Inter 1-1 Napoli
Juventus 3-0 Cagliari
85' CHANCES! TORINO AND NAPOLI!

Catania were so close to having Serie A snatched away from them there! Immobile is set up by Stevanovic and he rifles a shot that is within an inch of the post wide. Not 60 seconds later, Napoli saw a Pandev header cleared off the line by Walter Samuel as they go all out for the win.
88' GOAL FOR JUVENTUS

Rout over. An overhit Peluso cross deceives Vlada Avramov in the Cagliari goal, so much so that he tips it into his own net. Unfortunate for the veteran, and Juventus at least bow out with a big win. 4-0.
90+1' FULL TIME: JUVENTUS 4-0 CAGLIARI

Routine win for Bianconeri.
90+3' FULL TIME: INTER 1-1 NAPOLI

This result means that unless Torino score twice in the next two minutes, CATANIA are the Serie A Champions!
90+5' FULL TIME: TORINO 1-2 CATANIA

THEY HAVE DONE IT! THEY HAVE BECOME CHAMPIONS!

Gonzalo Bergessio's brace has secured them the title. What a day! Full reaction to come soon!

1. CATANIA 73 pts
2. Juventus 71 pts
3. Napoli 71 pts
Albelda 'unable to believe' Serie A win in debut season

David Albelda and Catania will no doubt have a sore head today as yesterday they won the league. Two goals from Gonzalo Bergessio, with the winner coming 15 minutes from time, sealed their victory and Albelda was on cloud nine.

"I'm unable to put my feelings into words right now. I'm going to wake up tomorrow and think, "what a great dream." I'm unable to believe my side's performances both today and over the season."

It is thought that the Catania board will reward Albelda's efforts with a transfer kitty of £27m this summer. When asked who they were looking at bringing in, Albelda stated: "Well, let me put it this way: some very interesting players have been transfer - listed by their clubs."
