Hi guys,
I'm still pretty new to Football Manager and recently started a season with Borussia Dortmund. Now, in my first season, I got a 5-Star-Newgen and I could use some help on how to train him individually.

I hope you can give me some good advice.
Thanks in advance

As great as his attributes are, he is almost useless as a centre back because of his height and low Jumping Reach. You have two choices:
1) Train him to be a DL and train him as a Complete Wing Back (individual role)
2) Train him to be a DM and train him as a Half Back (individual role)

I would personally train him to be a DM because I don't think his attacking technical attributes or his off the ball are all too great.

Thanks for your fast reply and help, Justice!

He's just 14 years old. Won't he grow over time? Or do they always have a static heigth on FM?
They will grow but it is unlikely for him to grow so much. And even if he does grow to be tall enough for Centre Back, at least then he will be able to play in more positions and be more well-rounded.

Okay, thanks again.
I'll train him as DM then.
It's actually fits well, since Sebastian Kehl retired this year and Sahin and Kehl are both 25 years old, so in a few seasons he might alreaddy be able to replace them.
