Friendlies: A decent Pre Season with out being brilliant. Victories over Chelmsford and Margate (2-0 and 3-1 respectively) before defeats to Aston Villa and Bournemouth (3-0 and 4-1.) Our final pre season game proved a challenge as we visited Chesterfield. A 2-1 victory saw the U's going in to the new season with a little bit of confidence.
Transfers:
Four signings came in early on. Luke Rooney and Dean Santangelo for the future. Alan Martin and Christian Montano joined to make a difference to the first team.
As for outs, only Luke Rooney went out on loan to Torquay.
Now it was time for the new season. The season will start with a tricky away trip to Wolves.
