Mansfield Town today played there final game in pre season completing the campaign and giving manager Chris Greenacre a idea what level the club are at and give him a idea which players will be in his first team for the following season. Chris told BBC Sport "It's been a great pre season for us in many aspects because our players have needed to gel and i don't think it's quite there yet as players was joining through all the games so we only had everyone signed on the very last pre season game which made it very difficult to tell who i want in my first team, I'd probably say the first 8 games could be difficult because some of these have never played with each other and it could be a completely new line up from what you seen last season, i just don't know who's capable just yet but this time will come and when it does we'll hit the ground running because i know the players I've signed are capable to take us to the play offs at least if not higher"

The first game was away at local team Worksop and Mansfield won emphatically as well as keeping a clean sheet, a decent win but should of always won this. The second game was very similar to the first with us comfortably winning and the third was a slightly harder team but we still won emphatically. We then moved onto some difficult opponents Arsenal at home was never going to be easy but we did manager to score which i was happy about! Then we played Bayern 2 and somehow won, though i'd never of heard of any of there players but i still beat Bayern after that it was another two comfortable wins against Glapwell and AFC Mansfield. All in all was a very good pre season
