USA 2 - 0 Spain

Confed cup game between USA and Spain has just ended, 2-0 to USA. I have to say well done to them. It was an amazing result, have always thought that the US are a good team but they were amazing tonight against arguably the best team in the world, full credit to USA they were great

Yeah, I just heard about it on the radio and I think that Spain were already thinking about playing Brazil in the final and thought that they could simply ease past USA. Great play to the Americans though, BIG mistake by Sergio Ramos with the 2-0 goal....

They have a very young squad but they are so experienced at internation level, Bradley has like 30 caps and is only 21

i was playing footbll myself so missed this match.

i mean USA have shown they are quite so decent in recent years. and have done very well in the confed cup.

you can do nothing else but congratulate usa for reaching the final. they showed the cocky spaniards today. probably the attitude which settled the game in the end.

Yeah, I remember Bradley from his time at Heerenveen where he scored like 20+ goals in one season! Great player and one for the future.

Got him on FM lol. Love him! He's great. The whole american squad is going to be good, if they keep the same squad for the next few years, world champions after this finals, outside bet.

now in my opinion this is bad!

if america do well in football, which is looking likely! they will dominat the game, they have an abundance of amazing athletic / sporting potential. they would dominat it like there own made sports, basketball, hockey, baseball etc.

i think the USA liking football not "soccer" would be a horrendous thing to happen in the game!

It would be better for British youth, I know 3 guys who have gone to America to make it as footballers, it is a better way to get trained and it is easy to get into a team. Look at Andy Dorman at St Mirren, I know shit example!
