Pretty self-explanatory. For those of you interested, we'll be talking about the main focal points in all three divisions of the League.

Transfers

This season could prove to be the most competitive in League history, with some big name signings already being made. One of these is Fulham's capture of Ross McCormack from Leeds United, for £11M. He's failed to have any instant impact, and, partly because of this, Fulham are bottom of the Championship. Blackpool have made a few signings, the most notable being Nile Ranger, known for being extremely controversial. I think that it won't be long before the club's passionate fans finally lose total patience with the owners. They already dislike them, after all.

With no less than six Premier League sides eliminated, the best viewing was to be found at stadium:mk where a rampant Milton Keynes Dons thrashed highly fancied Manchester United 4-0, with two goals apiece from Will Grigg and Benik Afobe. A classic Yorkshire derby between Bradford City and Leeds United at the Valley Parade didn't disappoint as a frantic final 10 minutes saw Bradford through, defeating Leeds 2-1.

The eliminated Premier League sides were:
Queens Park Rangers
Aston Villa
Burnley
West Ham United
Manchester United
Leicester City
