Shake up in Italy!

Italian football was shocked by not one but three resignations in high profile jobs. Firstly, Roma boss Rudi Garcia announced he will be leaving the Rome based club after high profile fan only known as "Neal" had a online row with Garcia. Roma fans were left fuming at the loss of Garcia just days from the start of the new campaign. What will kick them more is the loss of Italy boss Ceseare Prandelli. He claimed he could no longer do the job, with rumours circling round that Guiseppe Bergomi wants the job.

The big news is their replacements. Antonio Conte has announced that he will be leaving Juventus to take charge of both Italy and Roma. The move will see him take charge of Roma into their new league campaign, as well as head Italy into next summers world cup in Brazil. Can Conte do it? Can he be the next Italian legend.

Assombalonga: Italy's new sweetheart!

Peterbrough fans will be angered at the loss of yet another young talent. This time Britt Assombalonga has jumped ship, but his location will shock many, after Roma boss Antonio Conte splashed the cash on the striker. Antonio Conte spent an initial £7 million, with an extra £5 million after his next international game. Many have criticised the transfer, especially "Neal" who suggested Jordan Rhodes would have been a better fit transfer. However, Conte hit back saying "We are in need of a striker with Mattia being injured at the moment. Francesco can't play up front by himself. He needs a partner to score goals as well, and that's were Britt comes in."

Assombalonga started his career at Watford in 2010, a year later playing for Wealdstone and Braintree on loan playing 16 games in all, scoring 11 goals. His return to Watford was however, brief as he moved to Southend notching 15 in 43 games. But, just days after a £1.3 million move to Peterbrough, Roma came calling and spent there money. Will this transfer pay off for the Italians? Only time will tell.
