Is it just me or are there loads of "friendly" tournaments this year? Or have they just come up to more publicity. Their is the Wembley Cup, Emirates Cup and the was another.
Wel done to Celtic for 5-0 and to Tottenham for a good draw.
yeh more cups at a certain place with a few known teams gets more glory hunters to come and watch their favourite actors. and the teams get a bit of money as well as fitness.
so its mostly for the money.
To be fair I am glad that Celtic have Barca and Tottenham, and it a good thing to see Al thingy, never hear about the Asia or African teams here in europe. We only ever hear about south america when they have an amazing talent. Think Celts can beat Tottenham, and get a draw with Barca. Think Barca v Al will be a goal feast. What are the other tournaments?
i was more about that you said there are loads of pre-season cups. and yeh its always good for a team liek celtic to go head to head with such teams as barca.
