The club would like to announce the new manager of Notts County, Paul Ince. Paul is delighted to be here as manager and he has been given a 3 year contract. We would like to thank Paul for being very patient as we have, as you know, been without a manager for nearly a month now and applications for the managerial vacancy were being received 2 days after the sacking of previous manager, Shaun Derry. Paul sat down with us and told us, 'My first aim is to push the club into the Championship, maybe not this season as I don't think it's our time yet, but maybe next season when we settle down a little and I can get a strong bond with the players. This club has a long history, I want to add something to that history that will be worth remembering, it'd be brilliant if we could get into the Championship within the next few seasons.'

What do you think of the appointment? Voice your thoughts on Twitter @NottsCountyFC or on the club's Official Facebook page.

Thank you,
Notts County F.C. Board.
Ex-Inter Paul Ince ;) nice. Are you looking to bring your son to the club? he might have "high" wage demands... Though I'm not sure why, he surely will.

Good luck!

County Complete Signing of Duo

Notts County have completed the loan young Fulham winger, Mesca. Mesca joins until the end of the season and becomes Paul Ince's first signing since he took over the reigns of Notts County. Ince quoted after the signing, 'I'm very excited to see what he can do on the pitch as I have seen him play a few reserve matches while at Fulham and I was very impressed.' A journalist from Sky Sports News asked 'Will there be more activity any time soon?' and Ince, calmly replied 'Of course, there will always be activity when I'm around, I'm one for looking at players all the time I never stop!'

Andy Monkhouse also joins County after agreeing personal terms with the club. Monkhouse was a free-agent after being released by League Two side, Hartlepool after he wished to return to League 1 Football. The duo join after a hectic pre-season which Notts County used effectively says former manager Shaun Derry. 'I think Notts County used the pre-season very well and effectively, they played some young and gave the key players playtime in the meantime.'

County begin their League 1 campaign against Crawley Town on Saturday (K.O. 3:00)

Agree with no1villafan! Sven is a legend
I'm really annoyed to announce that this story can no longer be updated on due to a corrupt file, I've tried fixing it, however, it's one of those that I just can't fix. I was top in February too... I was be starting a save tomorrow and a new story will probably be up on Wednesday, maybe even Tuesday. Thanks for the support, it's been amazing! I hope you enjoy my new story when it comes around.
