The World Cup was over a week ago. Pre-season Football is here! A young man from Blackpool was living his dream - becoming a Football Manager at newly promoted and 'sleeping giant' Torpedo Moscow.

His name? Evan Jones, or 'Jonsey' as his friends call him. Jonsey was a surprise choice when he was announced to be the new manager. He had no experience - well... apart from playing Football Manager 2014. The news shocked the Russian Footballing World. This only had 'DISASTER' written all over it, in capital letters. However, Evan was focused. He was pumped for this, he wasn't going to let his entire childhood dream leave him like this!

Jonsey was called to the press room, for his first press conference as Torpedo Moscow manager. He felt sweat build up. He felt as if he was being cooked in a cooker. He sat down. Slowly looking around the room, he noticed familiar reporting brands - such as Sky Sports, BBC Sport and other names, but names like 'Russian feel to be a manager, as we hear you had a great dream to be one?' He paused. Searching for words, he found some and replied 'Great. It's the best feeling to know you have found what you want to do.' Questions flew by and he managed to get through it. He left the room, proud I had got through a press conference!

Evan had to focus on the club now,’ we are new to this league again and we need to improve the squad’ he muttered to himself. Was there too much pressure on this kids shoulders?
