Quite a few top players out but it's good to see JT sticking with the team!

STARS SET TO FEATURE

Chelsea boss Ledley King has stated that Diego Costa, Ramires, Willian, Thibaut Courtois and Kurt Zouma will all feature for Chelsea this season in the Sky Bet League Two.

Despite selling 15 first team players and racking up approximately £187 million in transfer fees, the arrival of Bruce Buck as the new owner of Chelsea has made it financially safe for the Blues to keep the quintet for the time being.

With captain John Terry already committing his future to the League Two side, King has now admitted the remaining five high profile players are also set to play this Saturday versus Northampton Town.

“All five players, along with Terry, have been incredibly professional since my arrival and are all in my plans this season for the time being.

“I see no reason why they wouldn’t be involved for us versus Northampton and we will play all five of them this Saturday and throughout the season.

"Our only doubt at this stage is Willian, who's carrying a leg injury of some sort. We're yet to discover the extent of the injury, but we await positive news before this evening.”

King did, however, admit that interest in the five players in question still exist, and that he wouldn’t stand in their way should they want to leave Chelsea.

“We are still receiving bids for a fair number of our players, the only key difference being that we now, thankfully, have a chairman which enables us to negotiate. There are clubs still sniffing around and I won't be standing in the way of Courtois, Terry, Zouma, Costa, Willian or Ramires if they wish to leave.

“They are all high quality players and nobody expects them to want to remain in League Two over a switch to one of Europe’s giants, so if a bid was to come in for one of our players and they are happy with the terms of the deal, we won’t force anybody to stay.”

King will make his managerial debut this Saturday at the Sixfields Stadium away to Northampton.

Diego Costa

Who else? Costa bagged 16 goals in just one month. Clearly, he’s more than a class above League Two level and if nobody comes in for him now, I have no doubts that they will in January. Others, such as Jeremie Boga and Izzy Brown were also very impressive, but you can’t knock 16 goals in a month’s worth of football so easily.

Verdict

A mega start for us with plenty of goals and it’s exactly the start we needed. Five wins from five and we are right up the table, showing all that we are ready to fire ourselves back up. We have a big month next week, playing West Ham in the Capital One Cup, so if we manage to beat them, I’d be absolutely delighted.
no doubt costa will most probably get over 50 goals the way hes going :P
Hello, guys. It's never good news when you see a post like this because it always means the story has come up against some sort of barrier. In this case, it's come up against a brick wall, and I won't be continuing this story any longer.
I'm sorry for all of those who were following this story tentatively, especially to end the story so soon into the season. I have, in fact, played ahead by a few months and I can tell you the results are pretty much indifferent to those in my first month.

I've definitely underestimated how good some of these Chelsea Under-21's are and fully expected the likes of Diego Costa, Thibaut Courtois etc. to leave like the others did. The squad I've been left with is simply to strong and zapped out that edge of your seat feel to the game, because I know I'll win every game comfortably 9/10.

To see thrashings every game of the month wouldn't make it as fun for others to read and I sense a few of you have been a little confused by how Chelsea's situation in-game has developed anyway, so I'll be dumping this.

I will begin a new save/story under simple circumstances soon. Nothing challenging or roller coaster like as this story has been. Hopefully, much of this readership will join me and I'd like to apologise again to those who were enjoying this story.

why don't you though just make it up or something. maybe costa and courtois etc decide to leave and quit the club or something?
Damn, this story was great :( Isn't it possible to have some sort of twist where the FA move the club into the Championship at the end of the season?
