I started a new carrer game with Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
My aim is to create a squad that is compatitive with other big european teams like Bayern , Barcelona and so on.
Expectations from the Board:
League : Euro-League qualification
DFB-Pokal : semi-finale
CL: advance to the group-stage
transfer-budget: 10 mio € [left: 4 mio €]
wage-budget: 820.000 € / Week [currently 775.000]

We completed 2 very good signings in my opinion.
Lucas Romero joined us for 6.5 Mio € from Velez Sarfield.
He is gonna be a beast-midfielder in the future.
The other one is Martin Ödegaard who is very talented.
He will play in our Under 19-Team at the start , but he will get his chance in the senior squad sooner or later.

not a good season preperation from our team but for me it was more important that the tactic was studied from the players.

Very efficient performance from my team and i was satisfied that we managed to get to the next round. Romero showed a good display with a rating of 7.9.
Calhanoglu was the man of the match with a 9.3 rating.

We had a very bad start into the game and were down 0:1 after 2 minutes.
Kießling than equalised for us , but a few moments later Huntelaar made the 1:2.
In the half-time i changed my tactics , and my team came back stronger than before.
A few minutes after half-time Calhanoglu made the important 2:2.
In the 60th Son made a cross which luckily found the back of the net - 3:2.
Schalke had two big chances to come back into the game.
Goretzka missed a very good opportunity in the 78th minute and Chupo-Mouting wasn't awarded a penalty in the 90th.
I was very satisfied with the win because i think that Schalke is one of the better teams in the league.[/h][/h][/h][/h]
