A nice start to both months mate but Swansea and Tottenham we always gonna be tough.
2014-11-09 17:48#198919 Jamesg237 : I would take on board the advice you were given; there is a lot of text bunched up together and it really does need to be separated with some of the features available to you.
Thanks for the advice, I was experimenting but only managed to find the bigger text as an improvement. However I have another idea which would make it look a bit different, hopefully better. I will change it soon! :)

Yeah, injures don't help either. But losing is the worst, getting no points at all. I hope things improve! Thanks for commenting! :D

November - 2014

Results:

West Ham 2 - 2 Newcastle

Valencia
Collins
MOTM: Downing
Thoughts:
Didn't want to lose three games in a row and we didn't. A win would of been nice, perhaps it would of put us to winning ways however, only a draw was managed. Fair result.

Liverpool 1 - 3 West Ham

Downing
Zarate
Valencia
MOTM: Valencia
Thoughts:
What a result! A win looked out of the picture here as Liverpool were in great form and we weren't. We took the lead just before half time ended and then extended it just as the second half started. They got one back but we defended well and managed to get another goal to end the game. The main switch I made this game was playing Zarate up front instead of Sakho, and it seemed to have worked very well. More good news, Andy Carrol is back! A great returning player for us, especially with an out of form Sakho not scoring. Only bit of bad news is O'brien is out for a week.

West Ham 2 - 1 West Brom

Downing
Zarate
MOTM: Valencia
Thoughts:
There was an international break after that Liverpool game, which was the worst time it could of come. Furthermore, Vaz Te picked up an injury and will be out for a couple of months. Playing Zarate as a striker is going very well, he scored the winner in this game. No surprise, another injury, Amalfitano is out for a few weeks. After this game, I signed a new contract with the club, which is of course, great news! :D

Manchester United 2 - 1 West Ham

Valencia
MOTM: Valencia
Thoughts:
Despite losing the game, we put out a decent performance against the team that are top in the table. We did very well in the first half keeping it at 0-0 but in the end, their fire power was too strong for us.

Month Review
This month has to be described as a good month for us. Four good performances, especially in the Liverpool game. Attacking players have really improved, Valencia, Downing and Zarate have been great and I really hope they can keep it up. Sakho and Carroll are going to have to wait. I have a nice set of fixtures next month, I really hope we can pick up a lot of points.

Player of the Month:
Enner Valencia
Hes started scoring and he sets up goals every game, just what I want.

Some mixed results, where are you in the league?

I am currently 8th, which I am happy about! :D

December - 2014

Results:

West Ham 2 - 0 Sunderland

Morrison
Zarate
MOTM: Noble
Thoughts:
A good performance by us. A clean sheet was kept too which is quite rare. Morrison played on the right wing instead of playing in the middle. He did very well so it proves he is versatile. We were dealt with a massive blow however, Zarate is out for about two weeks. Its Sakho's and Carrol's chance!

West Ham 3 - 1 QPR

Caroll
Collins
Sakho
MOTM: Collins
Thoughts:
We was a goal down after just eight minutes. However, Caroll with his first start to the season scored. Collins put us in the lead just one minute later. In the second half we continued to be the better team, Sakho came on for Caroll and he also scored.

Leicester 1 - 1 West Ham

Noble
MOTM: Noble
Thoughts:
A few days before the game, Cresswell got ruled out for a few weeks. He is the only player to have played at left back up until now. Therefore, O'brien switched from right back to left back, and Demel came in to play right back. A draw isn't a dreadful result, but how it became it a draw is frustrating. We gave away a penalty in the second half and couldn't find another goal to win.

West Ham 5 - 1 Hull

Zarate
Downing
Own Goal
Valencia
Morrison
MOTM: Morrison
Thoughts:
What a performance! Biggest win so far for us and we certainly deserved it. Zarate came back from injury straight into the first eleven and scored after just two minutes. We was leading by four goals after just twenty-five minutes and kept on dominating for the rest of the game. They got a goal back but so did we.

Manchester City 1 - 0 West Ham

None
MOTM: Noble
Thoughts:
I made no changes to the team after the performance against Hull, I just changed the formation. Man City's recent form wasn't spectacular and we kept them at bay in the first half. O'brien got his second yellow on the 65th minute, causing me to take off Morrison for Jenkinson. Therefore, didn't have much creativity coming from midfield. However, the 92nd minute of the game came, and we conceded. A real painful end.

West Ham 2 - 0 Burnley

Carroll (2)
MOTM: Carl Jenkinson
Thoughts:
O'brien was suspended, luckily enough, Creswell returned from injury and went back into his left back position. This game came just two days after the Manchester City game so I had to make a few changes such as Carroll came in for Zarate. By scoring us both the goals, Carroll is certainly challenging Zarate of who the main striker should be. Great performances by a lot of players even though some were tired, nice to get back to winning ways.

F.A. Cup Third Round Draw: Blackpool (H)

Month Review
This has been a fantastic month for us. The team really now seems to working together, we are scoring a lot of goals, its not just 1-0 wins. If the team can keep this up we will certainly be in the top half of the table by the end.

Player of the Month:
Mark Noble
Many players have done very well this month but Noble has been the one to stand out more than others by being the best player for us in three games this month.

Team Report

Key Players:

Thoughts:
I am very pleased with where we are in the table. I doubt we will finish 5th though, our record against the bigger clubs aren't great. But they are the only teams that have managed to beat us really, if we can get a win or a draw against everyone else in the second half of the season I think we will do just fine. I will doing updates when a player leaves or if a player comes in. I think one or two players are moving on however, I don't have sights on any other players because of the finances and budgets. I hope you have all enjoyed reading so far, I am enjoying the save and I'm just hoping we finish in the qualifying places for a European competition.
Brilliant first half of the season.

Yeah I don't think I realised how good 5th place is! I don't feel like I have done that spectacular but to be 5th half way through the season is actually pretty great. Thanks! :D

Season 1 2014/2015 - Transfer Update #1

Jarvis - Newcastle £5M

Thoughts:
I needed to improve our finances as they are not looking great however, the deal is £1.5M up front and £3.5M over 48 months. This doesn't improve the balance much but he was on 35k a week, which is one of the highest at the club. Furthermore, we have many great wingers, and they are common position to end up buying anyway.

January - 2015

Results:

West Ham 2 - 2 Everton

Valencia
Zarate
MOTM: Valencia
Thoughts:
Stewart Downing was ruled out for three weeks before the game so Vaz Te has his chance to shine. Furthermore, Carroll was a bit tired so Zarate came back to the first eleven. Although we didn't win the game, a lot of players had good performances.

Blackpool 0 - 2 West Ham (F.A Cup Third Round)

Amalfitano
Carroll
MOTM: Amalfitano
Thoughts:
This was a game to make changes in considering its a championship side however I do want a decent cup run so it was still a strong team. The team got the job done.
F.A. Cup 4th Round Draw: Arsenal

Aston Villa 0 - 1 West Ham

Collins
MOTM: Reid
Thoughts:
Amalfitano got sent home because of a cold, I never like to take the risk of someone else not being able to play. Therefore, Vaz Te got another chance. Considering Aston Villa are nearly bottom of the table, we should of beat them more comfortably. Still, a win is a win.

West Ham 1 - 0 Arsenal

Zarate
MOTM: Reid
Thoughts:
Both Tomkins and Downing have returned to training, Tomkins made the sub bench however, Downing did not. It would of been great if we got a result against one of the bigger teams and we did exactly that! After the first half, I thought we had no chance of getting anything out the game. They continued to be the better side in the second half until we scored the goal. Good performance, great result!

Arsenal 3 - 1 West Ham (F.A. Cup 4th Round)

Downing
MOTM: Downing
Thoughts:
Tomkins and Downing both started their first games since injury, and speaking of injuries, Jenkinson has been ruled for two weeks but he couldn't of played against Arsenal anyway. As well as Jenkinson, O'brien was banned so Demel came in to play at right back. We went into the game looking for a repeat of our last game and that didn't happen. To make matters worse, Tomkins picked up a red card in his first game back so will miss the next game.

Crystal Palace 0 - 0 West Ham

None
MOTM: Demel
Thoughts:
O'brien was still suspended so Demel was still in the team, he put in a good performance. The team just didn't seem to do it today, we wasn't dreadful but wasn't good either.

West Ham 4 - 3 Southampton

Amalfitano (2)
Own Goal
Downing
MOTM: Amalfitano
Thoughts:
After drawing the last league game, we wanted to get back to winning ways. This was certainly a crazy game. We were 3-1 up at half time, so I was confident of a win but they got it back to 3-3. Luckily, Amalfitano scored his second goal on the 85th to give us a win. Conceding three goals against a team in the relegation zone isn't good enough but we won the game and that's the most important thing. There is bad news, Tomkins got another injury and will be out for a month.

Month Review
We were undefeated in the league this month, which is fantastic. It is a shame to be out the cup but now the league has our full attention. We have carried on doing very well and the team is high on confidence, as am I, we will need it as we have a couple of difficult games next month.

Player of the Month:
Winston Reid
He his very consistent at the back, and has had a couple of MOTM performances this month, very likely the best defender we have.

Nice season so far, keep it up!
u need to post the ladder mate each time but besdies that awesome
2014-11-13 01:08#199459 Zap : Nice season so far, keep it up!
