Welcome to Estadio Jose Alvalade!

After big financial problems,Sporting CP is ready for revolution,we have been called by Mr.Bruno de Carvalho to witness rebirth of Green and White part of Lisbon, new manager, new objectives, new ideas, soon everything will be clear and we will know what is waiting for our Lions in the future. Before we join press conference here is a little introduction.

Full name: Sporting Clube de Portugal
Nickname: Lions,Green and White
Founded: 1.July 1906
Ground: Estadio Jose Alvalade

Mr.Carvalho just walked into the room,smiling...
Mr.Carvalho:Lady's and gentleman, welcome.I understand you all want to hear our ideas so we will get on it.May I firstly present to you man who will take our club to glory,Mr.Marco Silva!!!

President then went on to explain his idea,he will deal with financial part of business leaving players and games to manager who he gave the word few minutes after, here is what you can read our thoughts on new idea ,plan and manager.

Mr.Marco Silva is very happy to be here and from his words we now understand how big this idea is...As president Carvalho explained, plan is to get Sporting to financial stability and playing Europe on regular bases, signing young players or creating their own and shaping them into gems of Lisbon.Promising titles and fame for players and fans.He also said his main objective for first year will be to create team of players that will be able to fight for title in Portugal. As he said this is"Green Revolution".

More will come for sure.
Good luck! I'm a big Sporting fan, so I'll be reviewing your decisions :D

Man you're about to have a great season with Nani on board... Why don't you bring in Hugo Almeida from Cesena? I'm sure he could net you in a few goals

I already have 4 good striker's,so that position is not a problem and to be honest 2 of them are younger and better.Still thanks for advice. :)
Good pre-season, good luck!

GREEN START FOR GREEN CLUB:

Day before first game we spoke with Nani who said "We are working hard,we are focused and prepared,I hope we can bring glory and fame to our club..." We also managed to speak with manager Mr.Silva and here is what he said "My players will give all they can in every game,we have been waiting for this match for a long time, our plan is to create team that can win domestic titles and to secure financial stability of Sporting..."
Fredy Montero was too shy to give any comments.

Here you can see group for Champions League.

This report we start with bad news,Nani who is key part of this team was injured in training by Jao Mario,Mario immediately apologized, Nani responded by saying "Who can blame him for going hard? I remember my first days, I wanted to do it all..." Nani will be back in six weeks.

Sporing also started playing in Taca de Portugal in third round.Sporting won this competition 15 times, last trophy they lifted was back in 2008.

http://www.fifa.com/mm/photo/world-match-centre/clubfootball/02/44/46/58/2444658_big-lnd.jpg

Here you can see results for moths: October and November.

SPORTING 3 - 3 ACADEMICA (Carrillo x2, Mauricio)

TACA DE PORTUGAL:THIRD ROUND
VIEIRA 0 - 5 SPORTING (Shikabala, Cedric x3, Heldon)

ATLETICO MADRID 5 - 0 SPORTING

PANAFIEL 0 - 2 SPORTING (Carvalho, Silmani)

AROUCA 1 - 1 SPORTING (Gauld)

SPORTING 0 - 0 ATLETICO MADRID

SPORTING 1 - 1 PORTO (Carvalho)

ROMA 4 - 0 SPORTING

BELENENSES 1 - 3 SPORTING (Cedric,Jao Mario x2)

As you can see results are very mixed during these two months.Mr.Silva said he is very sorry for what happened in games against Roma and Atletico away saying "Our fans dose not deserve to watch something like that,it was not real us,we were not in game, players are young ,many of them never played Champions League..." He also mentioned 1 - 1 draw with Porto "I must admit we are happy with that one point, Porto ruled Portugal for a lot of years, they are financially strong and playing Europe on regular bases,we still have to learn and I can promise we will be getting wins very soon..."

Dream of Europe is over at least for this year...
