Guardiola´s verdict

It was a short, but a good month. The Elche game was an excellent way to start the season. I expected a trickier match vs Villarreal at El Madrigal. But we played great and won with 4-0. The players are getting in to the tactic. Now we need to continue the hard work.

Bartra and Rafinha extend deals

Today FC Barcelona announced that Rafinha and Marc Bartra has extended their deals to 2019.

Marc started playing for Barcelona in 2002. He made his debut for the first team in February 14, 2010. Marc has played 32 matches in La Liga for Barca and he has played 2 matches for the spanish national team. Many people see him as a future captain of Barcelona.

"Marc is a great player and he can still improve. He is a player that we´ll see him at Barca for a long time", said Pep Guardiola.

I´m delighted to sign a new deal. I enjoy every day here. Playing for Barcelona is a dream for me, said Bartra.

The new deal will earn Marc €74k a week until June 30 of 2019. The new contract raises Bartra's buyout clause to 60 million euros.

Rafinha is a central midfielder, but he can also play as a winger. He had a good loan spell at Celta Vigo last season and returned to Barca this summer. He has been very good in pre-season and he made his first team debut in the 4-0 win against Villarreal.

Rafinha is a great talent that I believe alot in. I´m sure that he´ll do great this season. We´re very happy that he has signed a new contract , said Guardiola.

Very happy to extend my contract at Barcelona! #viscabarca, Rafinha tweeted.

The new contrat will see Rafinha earn €45k per week until June 30 of 2019. The new contract raises Rafinha's buyout clause to 55 million euros.

Guardiola´s verdict

Another good month for us. We´re playing good football. The away win against Dortmund was a great start of the Champions League. I still want us to concede fewer goals but overall the team has done very well this far.

Guardiola: "The future players is already in the club"

http://istanbulgazetesi.com.tr/Images/Thumbs/News/142257-ispanyol-basini-guardiolaya-yuklendi-450x0.jpeg

Fifa has confirmed that FC Barcelona will not be able to sign any players in the next two transfer windows (Until January 2016). The reason is that Barcelona has signed players aged under 18 against FIFA´s rules.

The rules says that players who´s age is under 18 are able to move to a club in another country if their parents move there for non-footballing reasons, if they are from another nation in the European Union or European Economic Area and aged between 16 and 18, or if they live within 100km of the club.

Barcelona appealed against the verdict and the embargo was placed on hold. But Fifa ruled the club will now be unable to register new players in the January and summer 2015 transfer windows.

Fifa said in a statement: “FC Barcelona is now to face a transfer ban which will see the club stopped from registering any players at both national and international level for two complete and consecutive transfer periods, starting with the next registration period (January 2015).”

A Fifa investigation found that Barcelona and the Spanish football federation were guilty of a “serious” infringement of the rules in relation to 10 players. Barcelona has been fined 450,000 Swiss francs while the Spanish FA has been fined 500,000 Swiss francs. The Spanish FA did also appeal but it was rejected aswell.

The Barcelona manager has commented the transfer ban: "Of course it´s not good to not be able to sign players. We had some plans for the next summer window. But we have a good squad that I trust at the moment. Aswell we have many good young players like Marc, Rafinha and Munir. And of course we have the fantastic B-team who´s full with young talents."

"Many people are panicing. But I´m calm. Most of our players for the future is already in the club. I´m sure La Masia will continue to produce."

As Guardiola said Barcelona has many high rated talents. In Barcelona the biggest talents is considered to be Marc Andre ter Stegen, Rafinha and Munir el Haddadi.

http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140327181648/the-football-database/images/0/0d/Barcelona_B_M._El_Haddadi_001.png

Ter Stegen was bought in the summer from Borussia Mönchengladbach and has already taken the place as first-team goalkeeper. He has made a very good season so far. Rafinha has returned from a loan-spell in Celta Vigo last season and has also made a good season so far, scoring two goals in La Liga. Rafinha recently extended his contract until 2019. Munir is the big surprise of the season this far. He has scored fantastic seven goals this far in La Liga. Very impressive for a 19-year old.

In Barcelona B the highest rated talents is considered to be Sergi Samper, Adama Traoré and Alejandro Grimaldo. But there´s also great prospects as Alen Halilovic, Carlos Fierro, Sandro Ramirez and Jean-Marie Dongou.

Sergi Samper is a defensive midfielder. He has done a fantastic season this far, and he´s rumoured to go to a bigger club on loan i January. 18-year old winger Adama Traoré has scored 5 goals in 5 matches this far in Segunda Division. Alejandro Grimaldo is the biggest defending prospect in Barcelona. He´s believed to be the next Jordi Alba.

To sum up it will be tough for Barcelona to not be able to sign players. But if you look at their talents, the future looks bright.

It was an okay month. Very good win against Getafe and we went through the CL group without dropping points.
