Unemployed Territory

So we can start. I begun my save with lowest qualification possible, National C licence and Sunday League Player. This is what I always liked and that is this piece of realism in this game. I hope this story becomes viewed like some other stories because believe me this will be very interesting story.

OK so I opened these leagues and hoping to get job somewhere:

  • England- All leagues(Vanarama N/S)
  • Germany- Third division
  • Spain- Segunda division B1,2,3,4

  • I will write this story as first person and sometimes as news reporter with lots of images, so it won't be boring that's for sure.

Stay with this story and find out where did I got job.
    Cheers

    Lets begin!

So after couple of months without some available jobs we came to October. There were some jobs but no interview for me. Like I played this challenge many times before I knew that rarely I can get job in October so I waited and we came to November-Movember. So I was offered some interviews by 2 clubs in Conference and one in Conference North.

I went on these interviews and boards were pleased which made me please. So the clubs that are interested in me are:

    Kidderminster Football Club

Kidderminster Harriers Football Club is an English football club based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. The club participates in the Conference Premier, the fifth tier of English football.

Formed in 1886, Kidderminster have played at Aggborough Stadium since they were formed. They are the only club from Worcestershire ever to have played in the Football League, competing from 2000 to 2005

    Braintree Town Football Club

Braintree Town Football Club is an English football club based in Braintree, Essex. The club participates in the Conference Premier, the fifth tier of English football. The team play their home matches at Cressing Road.
The club was formed in 1898 as Manor Works, the works team of the Crittall Window Company, from which they gained their nickname IRON[1] The new club took over the fixtures of the recently defunct Braintree F.C. in the North Essex League, and also took on most of the former club's players.[1] They left the league in 1900, but returned in 1901. They won the title in 1905–06, 1910–11 and 1911–12. In 1911 they also joined Division 2A of the Essex & Suffolk Border League, remaining in the league until 1928.

    Boston United Football Club

Boston United Football Club is an English football club based in Boston, Lincolnshire. The club participates in the Conference North, the sixth tier of English football. The club is known as 'the Pilgrims' in reference to the Pilgrim Fathers, who fled from England and sailed to North America and founded Boston, Massachusetts. The club's crest, the pilgrim fathers' ship 'The Mayflower', is also a reference to them. The club's traditional colours are amber and black. Boston's neighbours include Lincoln City, Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town. The club is one of only 12 in the country to run a Centre of Excellence, provides a Study Support Centre and is also the basis of the 'Boston United Football in the Community Scheme'.

Boston United were members of the Football League from 2002[1] until 2007.

Hopefully I will get job soon and hope that one of these three teams approach for me.

Follow my story and reply. Cheers

    Boston United: My journey begins...

After some more interviews that I was rejected I was finally offered a job in Boston United. We are currently last with 8 points in 12 games and 9 points behind 19th which is out of relegation spot. Board wants that I get this team out of relegation spot and survive this season.

Never been this low as manager so it will be very nice to try and achieve something like this. I just want to try and get this club as far as I can and hopefully in future to get a job in bigger club.

So the journey begins and I'm more than confident to achieve everything in front of me. Go PILGRIMS!!!

    November: We start our journey...

    So, the Pilgrims...
    Here we go

    Jay Dowie, Marc Newsham

Even if we started good as leading with 2 goals we disappointing dropped and lost. After this match I was thinking was this good choice.

    Dayle Southwell

This was good match as we were not favorites for this match. We took the lead and were leading until our concentration dropped and conceded goal on frustrated way- from 35 damn yards!!!

    Marc Newsham
    Andrew Teague

Thanks to Teague I celebrated finally victory. We were not favorites for this match so this makes me happy because of that. Marc Newsham has finally scored and I expect no less from him in further of my career here.

Dayle Southwell, Danny Meadows, Stefan Galinski, Scott Garner, Jack Barlow

WOW what a win for us. We were absolutely great this time and showed class to upstage Leamington. All players were brilliant and could not say who was best. Hopefully we continue this good run.

    Danny Deadows, David Fallah

Even if this was FA Trophy this was really important match for making confidence bigger and stronger. Even if we were pretty same on field, we were better in front of goal and showed that we are better team then they are and with this performance maybe cup glory comes. Who knowes XD

So this was November, believe me December will be more than interesting. Follow story and reply. Thanks

    December: Great, great, great:

A fantastic month for Boston UTD.
We are really close of going out from relegation spots.

Dayle Southwell x2, Carlos Logan, Marc Newsham x2

Even in match that was close by statistic we won with dominant result and again with 5 goals scored. Both Dayle and Marc were brilliant and expect more of these two.

    Marc Newsham

A pretty disappointing draw when you see that we were dominant and had big number of chances. Hopefully next match will be better than this one.

    David Fallah, Marc Newsham
    Dennis Pilliner, Marc Williams

Two goals from my team and 5 by them but final result says that we won. Interesting match with 2 own goals by opponents and it look like they wanted to be defeated. But I don't care about that and most important thing is that we won.

    Marc Newsham, Danny Meadows

Another match against Lowestoft and yet another victory for my team. Better domination than other match but this time in league which gave us 3 very important points. We must keep it up.

    Marc Newsham

Even with more chances you are not sure that you will win. Very disappointing defeat when you know that we fight for not relegated. We must continue that fight.

Dayle Southwell, Carlos Logan, Ryan Fallowfield

As they are 1st on league table I must be pleased with this draw as we were absolute outsiders. We will continue to fight and get out of relegation chances.

These are results of November and December together:

Player of the month was Marc Newsham:

Next is January with big results and interesting matches. Follow and reply. Cheers

    Press Conference before transfer window

News Reporter(NR):"Mr. Lister you have managed so far some good matches in league, do you believe that you can continue that?"

Me:"Yes we had some great matches hopefully it continues. Pretty happy with performance of some players so far."

NR:"Which player was best in previous month for you?"

Me:"Well, definitely Marc Newsham. He scored many goals and produced some goals with marvelous assists and I believe and expect from him more in next matches."

NR:"Are you going to bring some new faces in this transfer period?"

Me:"We are looking for some players and are following them on matches so, as our team is not big we are going to bring couple of players on weakened positions."

NR:"Do you believe that you can go through next round of FA Trophy because you were drawn against conference side Barnet?"

Me:"They are good team and one league rank better than us so they are strong favorites and I don't think we have any chance against them."

NR:"Last question. Do you believe that your team has enough power to survive this season and not get relegated from Vanarama North?"

Me:"My team has more than that power. We are stronger than half of league and should be on top half not to fight to survive relegation. But we are down here and will survive. That's our primary goal. Thanks for coming in this number. At next occasion I hope to see all of you again.

    January: Looks promising

Very nice month for the Pilgrims...
Just read the story and find out!

    Marc Newsham

Another match agains Lowestoft but this time we played really bad and lost this match. Hopefully we have better in future.

    Ryan Fallowfield, David Fallah x3

Great win for us as they are one league better than us. Fantastic 2nd half and fantastic 45 minutes by David Fallah who entered this match on half-time. So we are in next round of FA Trophy

    Dayle Southwell, Marc Newsham x2

Another great win for us with big number of chances and great match by Newsham with 2 goals. We are on good run of good displays so I desperately want to continue this run.

    Dayle Southwell, Carl Piergianni

Nice win for us even with low number of chances. Piergianni was great today and hopefully he will continue. We are really close on getting out of relegation spot.

    Marc Newsham x2, Jay Dowie

YES! Out of relegation spots with this fantastic victory and yet another great performance by Newsham. Now we should continue these good results and to survive in this league.

    None

Didn't expected anything from this match as they were absolute favorites as they are 1st in Conference so, this loss may be to be concerned but lets hope it won't

Player of the month was, once again, Marc Newsham

Next stop February! We need to continue this performance! Follow the story and reply. Cheers
