Who Will I be leading?

If the title hasn't been a give-away, I will be controlling Juventus, and trying to revive the Old Lady of Turin - hopefully kickstarting and navigating them through a 'dynasty' phase.

Who Will I Be?

Well, don't be shocked, but I shall be my alter ego. [Following are the details of me from an alternate universe]. I will be, Arthas Saturn, an Italian-Indian who went on to play for Juventus, Real Madrid and the Italian national team, winning several accolades in the process. The story will not only be a testament and a periodical of my achievements but will also shed light on my own past. I did this so that you did not know everything about the manager's past, which gives me freedom to tinker with the story.

What are my aims?
First and foremost, to have fun. I haven't found FM15 to be particularly engrossing, not as much as 14 anyway.
Apart from that, my aims will be to win as many trophies as I can. Ofcourse, I hope to stick with this team for the remainder of the term until FM16 gets out (ambitious you say? I even heard delusional somewhere!?) I can surely try.

And I will simply go where the game leads me to :)

Hoping you have just as much fun as I do.
Good luck mate, will be following :)
Good luck!

Juventus make Pereyra deal permanent

Juventus have agreed to make Roberto Pereyra a permanent member of their team after agreeing with Udinese on a transfer for the Argentinian midfielder. It has been reported by multiple sources that the transfer fee agreed on is £10 Million. Of this sum, Juventus will make an upfront payment of £1 Million and the rest £9 Million will be done in monthly installments over a period of 48 months/4 years. Pereyra has signed a £28,500 a week - five year deal to keep him with the Turin based club. It is believed that Tielemans was the favored target for manager Arthas, however with limited transfer funds and Anderlecht's unflappable position on his value, any deal failed to materialise. Meanwhile, Pereyra had already impressed his new manager during the pre-season training and friendlies, and thus Arthas believed that he could strengthen his midfield by adding the Argentinian.

Pre-Season Friendlies

We have started the pre-season in quite good form. Good, yet inconsistent form. Amazing one match, and totally pathetic in the next. Look at the Stuttgart and Panionios results! We beat Stuttgart 5-0 comfortably, only to edge a game against a team of Panionios' calibre! Really? If we are to win the Scudetto for a third consecutive time, which is what I am here to do, we need to be more consistent than this.

Player of the Pre-Season

Without a doubt, our best player in the pre-season was Llorente. He has combined with Tevez in fantastic fashion, scoring goals left, right and centre. Backed by the supply that a midfield such as ours should generate, I can see us going quite far if El Rey León keeps firing like this.
Forza Juve!

Next Match: Season Opener - 30th August 2014, vs Cagliari
Very nice pre-season, should have beaten Milan though

Good pre-season except from the draws!
Good pre-season, don't be disheartened by some of the results as they're only friendlies :)
Liking the details you've put in like- Player of Pre season, Honours list and facilities along with pitch length

I'm going to follow this story shows great promise all the best for the future.

UEFA Champions League Draws

Result of the Draw:

Thoughts: I think we have been given a favourable group, not a walk in the park thanks to the presence of the team that is Bayern, but apart from that qualifying shouldn't be too hard if we put our best foot forward. Also, playing Bayern twice will give us a fair idea of how we will fare against the better teams in the European competition. Forza Juve!
Oooof tough group, you got Bayern :P
@Tallery: Thanks! Yeah, I know. The draws were surprising. The Milan match was particularly frustrating tbh. Ah, next time.

@Jonte-23: Thanks, maybe it was down to a lot of players being injured. (Excuses :p)

@TButcher1: Thank you! Hopefully we will win when it matters most!

@Iconic : Thank you! Am a bit of a fan of your Dortmund story myself! Thank you. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do :)

Fixtures and Results

Arthas says:
We started the season well with six on six (five in the league) wins, a fantastic start because that will boost the morale of the team massively! We started extremely well, destroying Cagliari six goals to one and dominating them in every manner imaginable. Tevez and Llorente were linking up very well, and Pereyra made his debut and in fine fashion by netting a sweet close range goal. The game against Atalanta was harder, as Atalanta had mounted a late comeback and it was upto Pereyra being pulled down in the box that gave Vidal the spot kick to score from. It was something I would hope doesn't happen again, as we could have won in a more convincing manner, if not for us letting in easy goals. The games against Sparta Prague, Sampdoria and Verona were pretty good. Sampdoria managed to score two due to us being careless, but we nevertheless scored much more than they did. As long as that happens I am happy. The game against Roma, our rivals from the capital, was what the most important match of the month, and I was happy to see that we played fairly well to win 2-0. This was our first match against a team of similar strength, one that is also in contention for the title, and I am happy we won it. Looking forward to next month and out game against Bayern! Forza Juve!

Player of the Month

Usually the practice is to have only one player as the Player of the month, however this season we have two winners - Kwadwo Asamoah and Fernando Llorente. Llorente has indeed carried his form from the pre-season and gone on to net 7 times in the space of 5 games that he has played. His height and physicality ensure that he can carve out chances from the hardest of opportunities. Asamoah, on the other hand, benefits from being somewhat a utility player, he can easily slot into any of the midfield positions or the right side of the field and put in a convincing performance, he has scored once and created 6 goals for the team in the past month.

Llorente - 5 Apps, 7 goals, 1 Assist
Asamoah - 5 Apps, 1 goal, 6 Assists
