Manager's Thoughts:
April was a good month, despite the loss to Cagliari, we showed a lot of positives during our performances and we still sit top of the league with one more month of fixtures left to go. I'm so proud of how the team has performed throughout the season, and they keep their cool, then there is no reason why they cant win the title. Next month is going to be tough, we have some difficult fixtures, but i have every faith in my players, and i'm sure they will want to carry on their fine form and potentially lift the title.

Player Of The Month:

Zapata has been in good form this month, picking up two man-of-the-match awards, in these two games Zapata showed us what he can do when he is on his game. Zapata has received some stick from the Milan fans due to his performances, however they will be pleased to see him putting in some good performances this month, and they will be hoping to see him continue these in future.

Manager's Thoughts:
I'm absolutely ecstatic! I'm so proud of the team, they have been fantastic all season. The team has shown real heart and desire, and they deserve this title. It's a an honor to be able to manage this club, the fans, the players, the board, they have been amazing. I set my target for the season to qualify for the Champions League, but to end up actually winning the league, it's unbelievable. I really believe this is the start of something great, and i hope this time next season, we can be in the same position, as this season.

Player Of The Month:

http://img.fifa.com/images/fwc/2014/players/prt-3/183864.png

Player of the month went to Fernando Torres, for his impressive displays this month. Torres scored an impressive five goals, and managed two assists. Torres has been in fantastic form all season and finished the season with twenty two goals. Torres was able to help fire Milan to the league title this season, and Milan will be looking forward to seeing how he performs next season.
Juve had a better G.D. than you :/ ??
In Italy it goes on head-to-head results. I won and drew against Juve, so I was able to win the league :)

Season 2014/15 Review:

The Serie A 2014/15 season has come a close. It was a fantastic season for AC Milan, who were crowned champions, and thus breaking Juventus's dominance in the league. New manager Oliver Grocott's first season in charge couldn't have gone better, after already winning a major trophy in his first year of management.

Results:

AC Milan had a great season in terms of results, after losing only two games in the league. Milan were able to stay unbeaten until the 15th of March 2015, thus going on a 29 game undefeated streak, which is a fantastic achievement. Milan's most memorable win was the result against Juventus, where they were able to come away with a 2-1 victory away from home. Milan were able to reach the semi-finals of the TIM Cup, where they were knocked out by the actual winners Juventus.

Final League Table:

AC Milan were crowned champions, on head-to-head results. Milan and Juventus both finished on the same points, with Juventus having a better goal difference. However in the Serie A it comes down to head-to-head results, and Milan were able to pick up a win and a draw against Juventus, thus crowning them champions. The other champions league spots went to Juventus and Roma. While Inter, Sampdoria and Napoli all qualified for the Europa league. The unfortunate tams to be relegated this season were Genoa, Verona and Parma.

AC Milan 2014/15 Awards:

Player Of The Season:

The player of the season award goes to Fernando Torres. The Spaniard was the spearhead of Milan's attack this season, as he was able to finish the season with an impressive 22 goals, with only Carlos Tevez scoring more. Torres showed the sort of form that we used to see in his Liverpool days. Milan will be looking forward to seeing if Torres can replicate his performances into next season, and hopefully lead Milan to another Serie A title.

Young Player Of The Season:

The young player of the season award goes to Mattia De Sciglio. The 22 year old, had a fantastic season for Milan, managing 6 assists in 30 games for the club. De Sciglio is a player with so much potential, his ability to run with the ball, his willingness to get up and down the pitch. Since his debut in 2011 he has been an ever present in the team, and looks to be one of Milan's most promising players.

Manager's Player Of The Season:

http://www.peterleeffl.co.uk/images/players/8825553.png

I have chosen Cristian Zapata as my player of the season. Cristian has been a rock at the back, and i feel he has improved massively since last season. In the games that he has played, he has shown real leadership qualities and a real desire to do well. If i could pick the whole squad for this award, i would. The whole team has been fantastic and i would like to thank them for there hard work over the season, and i look forward to next season.

Transfer News: De Jong Leaves For Liverpool

AC Milan have announced that midfielder Nigel De Jong has joined Liverpool for a fee rumored to in the region of 7.5 million euros. The tenacious midfielder had asked manager Oliver Grocott, to allow him to leave the Milan club, after stating that he wanted to return to the Barclays Premier League. The transfer will be a big loss for Milan, as De Jong was a big player in the heart of the Milan midfield. It is expected that Milan will look to replace De Jong as soon as possible.

http://www.magliarossonera.it/img201314/giocatori/dejong.jpg

Nigel De Jong started his career at Dutch club Ajax, where he broke through into the first team in 2002. During his time at Ajax, De Jong went on to make 96 appearances for the club and managing 9 goals. In 2006 De Jong joined German side Hamburg, where he would go on to make 66 appearances, scoring 3 goals. In 2009 Barclays Premier League side Manchester City signed De Jong for a fee of around £18 million, De Jong would make 104 appearances for the club and coring the 1 goal. In 2012 De Jong joined Serie A side AC Milan for a fee of £3.5 million. De Jong would make 60 appearances for Milan, scoring 5 goals. De Jong will now return to the Barclays Premier League with Liverpool after joining the club for a fee of around 7.5 million euros.

Manager's Thoughts:
I'm disappointed to see De Jong leave, but there's nothing i can do when a player asks to leave the club. I wanted to see De Jong stay, as i feel he is a fantastic player and he was a big player in our midfield. He unfortunately had his season cut short in January through injury, and we were looking forward to seeing him back in action this coming season, but he has asked us to let him leave, so of course we have to agree to the players wishes. The transfer does mean that we will have to fill the void left by De Jong, so i suspect you will be hearing some possitive news soon.
Just cought up with story, and i have to say that you are doing great. :D Torres is a frikkin beast for you.Sad that De Jong had to leave tho.
Thanks for reading bud, really means a lot :)
Still got a nice fee!
Yeah, it's a shame the board only give me 2 million of it to spend :(

Transfer News: Former Juve Stars, Join Milan

AC Milan have announced the signings of two players, both of whom were previously playing for Juventus. The first player is Defender Frederik Sorensen, who joins the club on a free transfer, after being released by Juventus last season. Sorensen can play anywhere along the back-line, butis primarily a Center Back. The second player is Striker Sebastian Giovinco, who also joins the club on a free transfer, after stating that he would not be signing a new contract with Juventus. Giovinco is a player who likes to drop into deeper positions, and acts almost like a play-maker.

http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/confederationscup2013/players/xl/298663.png

Frederik Sorensen began his career with Danish club Lyngby in 2007. After performing well for the club, he was offered a trial at Serie A side Juventus, and in 2010 Sorensen officially signed for the Turin based club. Sorensen would make 17 appearances for Juventus. In 2012 Juventus agreed a two year deal with Bologna for the co-ownership of Sorensen which would see him play for Bologna during this time. After the two year deal, Juventus were able to sign Sorensen after offering more money than Bologna and in 2014, Sorensen would join Verona on a season long loan. After the completion of the loan deal, Juventus decided against renewing Sorensen's contract, and he was released by the club in 2015. After a lot of interest from various clubs, Sorensen decided to join Serie A side AC Milan, where he signed a four year deal.

Sebastian Giovinco began his career with Juventus in 1996, where he would play for the various youth teams, before being brought up to the first team in 2006. In the 2006/07 season Giovinco would make 3 appearances for the club. In 2007 Giovinco joined Serie A side Empoli on a season long loan, where he would go onto make 37 appearances, scoring 6 goals. From 2008 to 2010, Giovinco made a further 45 appearances for Juventus scoring 4 goals. In 2010 he joined Serie A side Parma on a two year loan deal, where he would make 70 appearances for the club and scoring 23 goals. From 2012 to 2015, Giovinco would make 82 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals. At the end of the 2014/15 season, Giovinco stated that he wouldn't be singing a new contract and would leave the club for a free transfer. AC Milan were first to step in and offer Giovinco a four year contract, which Giovinco would sign.

Manager's Thoughts:
I'm delighted to welcome Frederik Sorensen and Sebastian Giovinco to the club, we feel these are fantastic signings for the club, as they can help to improve the current squad and we hope they can make a big contribution to the team. Sorensen is a very good defender who can play anywhere along the back, which is vital i feel, and i'm looking forward to seeing him play. Giovinco is a player with a huge amount of experience and i'm delighted to have him on board, he's a very creative, quick player and i feel he can do big things for us at the club.
'The Revival', indeed! You've done very well, both with the save and the story so far :)
