Interview with Daniel Levy
Daniel Levy sits down with Dan Fitch for an interview.
Welcome Mr. Levy. You have had a decent first few months. Are you happy with the squad?
August was a good month. We had all great results, and the team looked strong, but these were all expected wins. I was disappointed with the squad in September. The loss against Stoke was unacceptable, and to lose to Chelsea is always a bitter disappointment, for myself but mostly for the fans. I also expected to go further into the Capital One Cup, but failure in that competition allows us to focus on the more important competitions, which works out for the best.
While you did have a worse September than August, how pleased were you with the Manchester City win?
Well that was an absolute masterclass victory. We were thoroughly better than the opposition and that can be shown by the scoreline
And how do you rate that player performances?
The best player of the past two months has been Harry Kane. He had 8 goals in 2 consecutive games. That is unreal. He has scored a total of 12 goals thus far this season. He has been absolutely brilliant
This will be my last question Mr. Levy. Usually you are a big wheeler and dealer on Transfer Deadline Day, but this year, no deals done. Some fans are upset that you did not upgrade the squad, what are your thoughts?
I know the talent of my squad, and I can get the best out of them. They know my expectations.
