Aston villa are getting impatient with paul lambert! and finally randy lerner has had enough. talks are ongoing with potential managers but lerner goes for the fans favourite and up steps tony daley to fill the void and hopefully bring success to villa park!javascript:addpix('paul-lambert-is-suing-nor-008_77417.jpg','rmsgtext','')

daley is looking to shake up the squad yet give youth options a chance such as jordan graham and jack grealish

big shake up in transfers as more go out than come in

Only one player came in on the first transfer window but daley was looking for quality rather and quantity and he definitely got that in lucas romero. the boy wonder plays defensive midfield but can operate in the centre of the park and has real potential to build a side around him!

with that being said a lot of others left including darren bent who took up a lot of the aston villa wages!
Positive start to the season

a okay start to the season as i looked to shake up the side and decided to give a lot of players a chance to keep there futures alive! one person who's done this more so is ansi weimann scoring 10 in all competitions in almost as many games!

his electric form has kept out christian benteke and forced gabby agbonlahor to the wings! he is alerting clubs such as apr newcastle and southmapton because of his good form!

another player who has thrived from first team opportunity is jack grealish scoring 3 in the league and getting his first caps for his country he has quickly become a fans favourite for his trickery and hard work
DALEY OFFERED NEW DEAL

After a positive start to the season randy lerner has offered tony daley a new deal during december 2014 heres what tony daley had to say

"after a positive start to the season i am happy to be offered a new deal with the club i fell in love with, to be here such little time and have such an impact is very positive for myself and the club going forward. I have tried to create good attacking football yet a hard work ethic within the players and they have responded massively and i couldn't have asked for more, but this is just the beginning so lets not get carried away because as you know things can change at anytime.
i have decided to accept the offer of aston villa and my contract now runs till 2018 so that clubs the club a bit of stability and relaxation for myself and the players, hopefully now we can kick on now and finish in the top ten"

With randy lerners future in the balance as aston villas chairman this will set well within the fans as they look for stability from a football front
Villa giant killing

After signing his new deal his new deal aston villa boss tony daley could not have asked for a better start! If you would of asked the villa boss at the start of december for 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss i think he would of bit your hand of heres what he had to say /b]

" after signing the new deal at aston villa i could not have asked for a better start to the new deal, it seems the new deal has boosted everyone at the club and footballs showing that now, where scoring for fun but also conceding but at the moment we have that score more than your opponent mentality which can catch you up but maybe where riding our luck at the moment. I'm certainly not complaining though"

when the boss was asked about who's been excelling under his leadership their was two names on his lips this being

Lucas romero & Jack grealish

"for such a young age these two players have been playing like senior professionals i could not have asked for any more from them, saying this jack has been rewarded with a five year deal. giving him such a long contract could be a risk being so young but he has earnt this and fully deserves it as he has a bright future ahead of him"
"Moving onto lucas romero he has been a revelation, he reminds me of a young diego simeone his tough tackling mentality is rubbing off on everyone around him but don't be fooled the boy can play chipping in with a few assists and goals himself"

With the team playing so well in the first half of the season it will be intriguing to see how 2015 treats the team
