Hello there! I've been following this site for ages just never got around to registering and this is my first time making a story too so don't go hard on me!! I'm not that good at writing so don't expect much fantasy, just plain narrative of the things going on. hehe.
So before I start, my team will be Arsenal F.C..

I will have first transfer window signings banned and I'll try to keep signings as real as possible, maybe even have the same players that are being signed right now IRL. That being said, I want to try as much as I can and build an english squad unless I bump with good business or interesting free deals.

I will be taking over all of the teams training aspects as well as signing a few coaches to strengthen some areas.

Tactics

The main formation I will be using will be a 4-2-3-1, probably drop the 2 central midfielders to the defensive midfielder positions and depending how things go maybe change to a 4-1-4-1. High tempo, short passing, using the flanks...

Goalkeeper

I don't think there will be much movement here. Szczeny will be number one keeper though i'll try to give Ospina minutes so he stays happy. Unless I find someone interesting the backup two will stay the same.

Central Defense

Obviously Per and Laurent will be the starters here. What's obvious too is that we'll need some rotation options which can either come from the youth team (Hayden) or from the full backs (Chambers, Debuchy and Monreal most likely).

Full backs

The side with less options here with two natural full backs and Koscielny in case of injury. I'll have to wait and see which of the two will be the best starter though I think Monreal might have a little of an edge here.

On the right side we have Debuchy as a starter but we'll see a lot of rotation with both other guys. I'm hoping Bellerín will do good and will be able to have some nice playing time cause of the rotation we'll do in the center of the defense with Debuchy and Chambers.

Defensive Midfield

Definitely the position with the lowest quality in the team and one we'll look to strengthen in winter or next summer. The starting option will most likely be Arteta though he is not getting any younger hehe. I really don't like Flamini and I'm willing to give Coquelin a shot. We'll see much rotation here. He's not in the list but I'll probably retrain Diaby if he manages to stay fit for an adequate amount of time.

Central Midfield

Ramsey and Wilshere are the key here. Diaby and Arteta as the least likely options. I really hope the first two step up, they have to make a real difference here. I want to see last seasons goal scoring Ramsey.

Attacking Midfield

Ozil and Cazorla will be the playmakers of the side. Rotating seldomly with the old but brilliant Rosicky. Unless there's an injury plague (more than likely in FM and Arsenal) they'll be the only ones playing there.

Wings

Many players here too. I'm looking forward to training Alexis to the left and him being the main man. Welbeck and Podolski will get starts here too.

I'm still debating whether to send Campbell out on loan or not cause of Theo's injury. We'll see how July and August go on. In the meantime The Ox will have some nice playing time. Alexis is there for backup too as he will be playing on the left.

Striker

Sanogo will be going out on loan as i'm happy with Giroud, Welbeck and Podolski up front. I'll have Welbeck train his composure intensively to make the most out of him cause I've seen what he's capable and have faith in him.

My plan is to have foundations of the team based on these 3 players. I'm sure that if we manage to stay injury free we have a strong chance of doing a good job. Welbeck and Giroud will also play a big part during the season.

Initial First Team Injury Report

David Ospina | Bruised thigh | 6 weeks - 3 months
Theo Walcott | Damaged cruiciate ligaments | 3 - 4 Months
Serge Gnabry | Damaged knee cap | 3 - 4 Months
Abou Diaby | Hip injury | 6 weeks - 2 months

Contents

Chapter One - Preseason
Chapter Two - August
Chapter Three - September Update

Pre-season results

Not a bad preseason, lots of rotation to get all the guys on form and I think we've achieved that. Cazorla scored 4 in the last match.

Community Shield

Arsenal F.C. 3 - 2 Manchester City

Really happy to start the season like this. A good match with a lot of action on both sides. Agüero had a really good game unfortunately but when everything pointed extra time... Late goal by Alexis to win the cup!!

August Injury Report

David Ospina | Bruised thigh | 2 - 4 weeks
Theo Walcott | Damaged cruiciate ligaments | 4 weeks - 2 Months
Yaya Sanogo | Hip injury | 5 - 7 weeks
Serge Gnabry | Damaged knee cap | 4 weeks - 2 months
Abou Diaby | Hip injury | 2 - 4 weeks

August fixtures

Relatively easy month to start but we must do well. Burnley, Hull City Leicester City in league and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the CL playoff. The results will be up shortly!
Well done in the Community Shield, nice little bit of Silverware for your side, and it's always a plus to beat a team like Manchester City!

Olivier and Alexis have been fantastic this season start scoring 5 goals each and 6 assists (together) in 5 matches.

Incredible two first results in both League and Champions League.

August results

Arsenal 8 - 1 Burnley
Alexis (3), Giroud (2), Cazorla (2), Oxlade
Wilshere - Bruised rib

Arsenal XI Szczeny, Monreal, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Debuchy, Arteta, Ramsey, Alexis, Cazorla, Oxlade, Giroud
Subs Martinez, Chambers, Gibbs, Coquelin, Wilshere, Özil, Podolski

Crazy game! Alexis' hattrick in 8 minutes. It's a shame we conceded a goal from just one shot, Szczeny was not at his best. Giroud took the MoM scoring 2 goals (Cazorla's goal came from a shot at the woodwork from Giroud) and 3 assists. BEAST! That weeks Premier best eleven:

Arsenal 5 - 0 Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk
Alexis (2), Giroud (2), Gibbs
Gibbs

Arsenal XI Szczeny, Gibbs, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Debuchy, Coquelin, Ramsey, Alexis, Özil, Oxlade, Giroud
Subs Martinez, Chambers, Monreal, Arteta, Flamini, Cazorla, Podolski

Another cruise, conceeding just one shot on target too only this time it wasn't a goal.

Hull City 0 - 2 Arsenal
Chamberlain, Giroud, Gibbs
Gibbs

Arsenal XI Szczeny, Gibbs, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Debuchy, Coquelin, Ramsey, Cazorla, Özil, Oxlade, Giroud
Subs Martinez, Chambers, Monreal, Wilshere, Arteta, Welbeck, Alexis

Really tough match, Hull City formed a wall in front of their area. Really hard work to score goals, which came from 2 mistakes from them. It is VITAL to win this tough matches, this will show in the table later on.

Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk 2 - 1 Arsenal
Monreal

Arsenal XI Szczeny, Monreal, Chambers, Mertesacker, Bellerín, Flamini, Arteta, Welbeck, Cazorla, Campbell, Podolski
Subs Martinez, Koscielny, Debuchy, Coquelin, Wilshere, Sanchez, Giroud

Lots of rotation here, not really bothered by the result. We were already through so I decided to get everyone match fitness ready. Flamini Man of the Match, this says it all.

Arsenal 1 - 0 Leicester City
Wes Morgan OG

Arsenal XI Szczeny, Monreal, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Debuchy, Wilshere, Ramsey, Alexis, Ozil, Oxlade, Giroud
Subs Martinez, Chambers, Coquelin, Arteta, Cazorla, Campbell, Welbeck

Not a good match either. The goal was by Alexis clearly... Counted as an own goal oh well.

Well, unexpectedly, Francis has been a great player for us this month! Oxlade scoring the decisive goal against United.

The team has lacked a bit of spark and we're working on getting that back.

September results

Manchester United 1 - 2 Arsenal

Arsenal XI Szczeny, Monreal, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Debuchy, Arteta, Ramsey, Alexis, Cazorla, Oxlade, Giroud

Arsenal XI Szczeny, Monreal, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Chambers, Arteta, Ramsey, Alexis, Özil, Oxlade, Welbeck

Arsenal XI Ospina, Gibbs, Monreal, Chambes, Bellerín, Flamini, Wilshere, Alexis, Rosicky, Campbell, Welbeck
